Hi my name is Will Rogers (kinda like the cowboy/comedian you may have heard of if youre from an older generation.

I created this thread to see if any other ENFPs share my love of thrillseeking activities such as rockclimbing, whitewater rafting, parkour, snowboarding, skydiving, and longboarding. I love the adrenaline rush/thrill that such activities give you. Ive heard that such extreme activities appeal to our ENFP nature. Also the wonka world would be far better off minus green and yellow variety gobstoppers.

Howdy. I'm into cycling, mainly long distance riding. But when there's a downhill section, I like to see how fast I can get the bike up to. 86 kpm / 54 mph is my PB. But I'm more into the long distant challenges (maybe cause I'm older). I try to do a 100 mile ride (with hills) every summer.

Did you know the comedian Will Rogers is also ENFP?

Thanks for the feedback. 54 mph is really fast for a bike Ive maybe hit 40 and I was wobbling like crazy. Longboarding, I hit 45 mph getting pulled beside a car into the top of a hill thoigh. And longboarding is the jam Ive got a pipeline sector 9, 42 inches. Which bard do you have?

I don't have my own board, I'm too poor. I go riding with my best friend and I use her spare. It's a Loaded Vanguard. Dunno how many inches.

Loaded boards are really nice, Id probably go that route if I get another one. I will probably end up buying a freeboard next though which is basically a snowboard on pavement (the wheels rotate and there are foot bindings).

extreme sports =

There's nothing better than a good adrenaline rush... except for maybe experiencing being focused with a super crazy adrenaline rush during a fight. People think I'm an easy person to pick a fight with... I beg to differ ^.^'

rockclimbing, jetskiing, driving FAST are all things i love that get the adrenalin going. Not fit enough for some of the other more physical things on your list (not yet anyway). Skydiving is on the 'to do' list.

Tried parasailing and it did nothing for me, too quiet and boring up there!

Driving fast! w00t! Anyone here considered Martial Arts? .. Extreme sports can be fun!! hehe.. Going down rapids is fun! I didn't think rockclimbing was classified as an extreme sport..? Skydiving is definitely something on the 'to do' list. That would be tonnes of fun!! XD .. I would love to do a bit of parasailing.. Didn't realize it was that boring..

I definitely agree with all of of you on all fronts of this whole adrenaline rush thing. Maybe us ENFPs are adrenaline junkies. Whitewater rafting, rockclimbing, parkour, and snowboarding all give my mind clarity more than anything else. I know walks in solitude are recommended for off kilter ENFPs but I prefer going fast like Ricky Bobby. Martial arts I feel are a great way to let out or calm down racing thoughts and focus them into more productive thought processes. And is parasailing really that boring Ive always wanted to get on that?

with parasailing you're just kinda gliding along, so even though you are a hundred metres above the water its not really a rush. Its very quiet up there! but i still recommend it cos everyone should try new things, maybe you'll lov it

Biggest thing for me was thinking "why havent i done this before? Oh yeah i'm meant to be scared of heights...guess not! Nice view..."

Bahahaa.. Very nice Zvezdar.. Yeah.. I get that experience sometimes.. My form of adrenaline rush is by seeing the biggest audience I can get... That is always an adrenaline rush..

yeah good point, i was thinking the other day how much i loved performing when i was younger (although at the time I didnt think so!). Only 'performing' i've done for years is public speaking, which is kinda similar (but not as fun)

There is no reason why you can't make public speaking fun.. I have taken a couple tutorials this year, and had tonnes of fun with them.. One was on relationship Psychology, the other was on Industrial Psychology.. The group loved it.. Hehe.. Not to mention doing a bit of speaking at churches, but that is different.. So what sort of performing did you do? And isn't there a possibility that you can go out and do more performing??

I didnt mean it wasnt fun, just less fun

I did a couple of plays and some dance when i was younger, largest crowd was maybe a few thousand people (that was the most fun performance too...laughed through the whole thing). I think some kind of dance would be a good next one to do.

To dance is such a beautiful release. It puts me in a trance-like state of mind. *_* I love it.
