Thanks, Stripes, I'll look into it sometime when I have the chance. What did you like about it?

Does listening to audio books help? That way you could listen and do something else at the same time? Then you wouldn't be so focused on one thing and would require less need to talk about it immediately? Just a thought. If it's an audio book, you could also technically talk aloud (maybe?.) I find that Te really needs/wants to vocalize things learned. I think that's often why I am probably seen as the crazy person that talks to herself while driving...well okay, people probably just assume I'm on the phone, so it's all good.

Another thing that helps me, is writing notes on the margins of books. I know some say it is sacrilegous or something, but it helps process the things I am thinking at the time while reading. I haven't quite found a way to do this with e-books, though. Another idea, have you thought about creating a blog? Then, you could throw out your thoughts to your heart's content...

I do like audio books. I haven't listened to one in years though. I do like margin writing and high lighting too....except I read a lot of library books. And, guess what?! I made a blog and never actually wrote in it. I would love to have a blog where I spout all my horrendous thoughts, but I am scared of posting stuff on the internet. I'm afraid it would become too personal (I'm not so great at not being really personal) and then interfere with my career. Plus, I'm afraid that people will think I am dangerously radical or just pretentious or stupid or...well, you get the idea. I have all sorts of delightful fears. Did you know that when you are hired to be a public school teacher in the US, that you are required to sign a piece of paper that swears your allegiance to America and to only teach pro-American things? Sometimes I feel the full weight of my naivety and it scares me. But, a blog would be great! Do you have any suggestions for how to keep it safe?
