So greetings all. I see that the INTJ already have a presence on this forum, and to them I say hello as well.

I think half of our membership is INTJ which is fine by me I love your type.

Anywho, Welcome to the forum. I think that you will enjoy ENFPs... we are intoxicating to INTJs.

I've found ENFPs tend to like my honesty, but also get hurt by it. The ENFP I was with until recently frustrated me in the way he wouldn't share his information but wanted me to (it doesn't work that way with an INTJ, they like it to be equal). I think that ENFPs help INTJs translate their emotions from a meaningless message to something that means something.

Must be something that he perceives to be unpleasant and offputting about himself. Typically, it's the more serious issues that still have the power to hurt us that the ENFP clams up on. It might have been something he thought would make you think less of him....or maybe it was something he'd be struggling to handle on his own....and he didn't want to feel like he was angling for your help. I know I get super independent and refuse to let anyone help me with the big stuff. >.> Or maybe he had a bad experience opening up to someone and has difficulty trusting anyone with that kind of information anymore. -shrug- I can't say for sure, but that's what immediately comes to mind for me.

INTJs are perfect matches for ENFPS like guillotines are perfect matches for necks.
To thine own self be true, and it must follow, as the night the day, thou canst not then be false to any man.

i'm an intj and i used to think we were, but now it seems more like a sexy ecstasy party where everyone comes down at the end and feels like shit... but maybe you still want to go again.

Psyko....I don't think Jersey has ever met a female INTJ....and I can't even be sure he's ever really gotten to know a REAL INTJ. Frankly, his father doesn't sound INTJ to me.

Nope, I said in another thread that his dad screams ISTJ to me...

Of course he hasn't gotten to know a REAL INTJ, how could he then not love us???

I don't think we should stick with one personality type and forget about all the others... It is said that the ENFP-INTJ combo works great, but I have no experience with INTJ's... Personally, I feel more attracted to the extroverted types (but maybe that's because i'm only slightly extroverted myself?). Anyway, maybe all pieces of the puzzle will fall in it's place when I meet an INTJ

The only thing I recommend is S marry S and N be with N.

Though I think ENFP male can make it with an ISFJ female.

I just met an ESTP-ISFJ couple. they were so cute. they had been married for 30 years.

-_-;;;; One bad relationship with an uncompromising ISTJ doesn't mean that all S types are going to be unwilling/unable to meet Ns halfway.

Point taken.

For me, ISTJs, ESFPs, ESTPs,ESFJs, ESTJ, ENTJs, are marked off the list as far as marriage. Fun yes. Friends yes. Mother of my children... no

-nod- we're all going to have our own preferences based on experience.....I just don't want other people's expectations colored by mine. It is a good idea to keep in mind that there will always be clashes with different personality types and to be aware of how to approach them and potential problem areas, but not at the expense of a potentially wonderful relationship. Even if it doesn't work out, experiences are what help you develop and grow, even the bad ones. You are who you are in part because of what you learned from a bad relationship, right?

I wanted to ask Alysaria something - I've forgotten what it was now.

Ahh yes, "How bubbly are you in RL?"
My gut says that either you're not bubbly, or deep down you're definitely not bubbly.

@JerseyCityENFP:
Ahh...Guillotines are perfect and very final matches for necks. Won't need the caress of another again after that one
Well, I can understand the effect the critical wrath of an INTJ can have on some people.
An ENFP daughter would probably be adorable. An ENFP son though.... well, at least he'd have talent (be intuitive). But yeah, even though male ENFP friends are perfectly fine, and their kids are perfectly fine, I'm not sure a male ENFP son of an INTJ father would work. XNTJ yes. XNTP, probably, but XNFP - that does not sound pretty. Tell your dad to accept you as you are.
