Hey everyone I was thinking that we could put together a fun test for people to take.  Often people aren't sure if they are ENFPs so why not put a bunch of questions down here and I can enshrine them on their own page at the top of the website.  Feel free to refine or correct.  Crypt, maybe you can make up an HTML program or something?

I'll start.

1. do you get energy from being around people?

2. do you perfer optionality or structure?

3. Do you feel your self to be more of a: Highly focused lazer or a search light on a lighttower?

4.  Do people make you smile?

5. When things go wrong, looking back, have you found that you should have trusted your gut feelings, or you should have reasoned things out better?

I'm pretty sure I could do that, if you got together enough questions to make a test.

Not sure how you would link whatever I wrote and make it look like the rest of the site, though. I still have the .css files you sent me way back, so I think I could make it look in the same style? Not sure. A functional test would be extremely easy to write, though.

Thing you need to know is what you want to achieve with the test. Do you want to test the type of the person? want to test if he/she is an ENFP? General personality test?

Also i think it would be more interesting to make the test different from the rest in being phased. For example; if you take MBTI as the subject; The first 5 questions would be about wheter you are Extroverted or Introverted. Following this the test should'nt continue like others but instead, after filling in these 5 questions you get to another 5 questons.

Point being, if on the first 5 questions the result would be Introverted, the next 5 questions would be more specific questions about introversion to really remove the participant of any doubt. Vice verca with the Extroverted results.

This way you dont have to fill in 100 questions but make simple 5 question/answer steps.

I can come up with questions etc but i need to know what you want to make the test achieve.

Frankly I'd kind of go with Tabow's idea of making a definitive introvert vs extrovert division....but then I'd switch the questions to focus on the main 2 functions. The test could have a percentage rate for each of the functions....emphasizing the strongest 2. You have the 2 main functions and whether or not the person is E or I, and you've got the order of the functions.

I mean....if I come up E and my main functions are introverted feeling and extroverted intuition, being extroverted puts Ne first, which makes Fi second.....which makes me an ENFP. The functions tend to be more reliable than just the attributes themselves. >.> Sometimes it's too close to tell, and it's not like thinkers are without feeling or vice versa.

I know how it works in my own mind, but sometimes explaining and making my thoughts into reality isn't very smooth.

When I look at my past mistakes, I think I ahouls reason things out better..... I dont understand which answer says F which T?
