Hi qimster, I'm always up for chatting with an ENFP. I should warn you that I am a single man who is looking for something, but I am also keen to make some friends in the process of looking.

*don's a John Cleese voice* are there any women here today?

You've lost me again... why John Cleese? I'm very confused.

I was randomly thinking about a scene from Monty python's Life of Brian... because you made me laugh about being a boy, and I just pictured the scene where John Cleese, at the stoning, asked if there was any women here today. It is a funny film, if you haven't already watched it, about life in Jesus' days.

Oh right, I love that film. But... are you suggesting that I might in fact be a cleverly-disguised woman?

Do INTJs and ENFPs always confuse each other? Alysaria seems to misinterpret lots of my posts. I wonder whether the reason they get on well is that they have to keep explaining themselves to each other, so they have a good excuse to keep the conversation going on long enough for them to become friends.

Lol. Nah. The confusion stems from text. INTJs are more comfortable with impersonal communication...but it's not a comfort zone for ENFPs. We read so much in person fron tone of voice and the way you phrase things, that we tend to misread written communication. At least I do. I have the same issue with slayer...and sometimes it works the other way where he can't tell if he's hurt my feelings or if I'm teasing.

It's not really hard to keep conversation going regardless of communication issues...and even an ENFP can appreciate the quality of silence, as long as it's comfortable.

Oh right, so you're more inclined than we are to read emotions into a text that aren't really intended? That's a common problem for peopel in general when they talk online, of course. How can I make things easier? With lots of emoticons?

I totally would, cause he seems like a really cool INTJ, but snail would be jealous. I've got her feelings to consider, too, ya know

hmm.... pawning your girlfriend off on someone else, so that she doesn't get loney or jealous while you're flirting with another man?

I mean... I'm good, but I'm no ENFP. That's a bit beyond my ability, I think.

That was an INTJ joke. Did it come across? I probably shouldn't have used the angry emoticon.
