Fitness will aid you in penetrating the barriers to your satisfaction which disparity in average mutual attraction between you the eel and she the cave may currently constitute.
One thing that is worth mentioning in relation to my recent study of masturbation etc.: while exercise may be one of the necessary means by which fitness is achieved, it doesn’t seem that fitness originates with it. When I removed the possibility of masturbation, the urge to exercise became automatic. I had to exercise strenuously every day, even if I’d thought I’d let myself rest earlier in any given day. I’m not claiming that non-masturbation results in exercise, but I am commenting upon exercise’s relation to overall orientation, as opposed to its treatment as an isolated ”do this > this will happen/ exercise > fitness” dynamic. (That bearing in mind that for me, specifically, the manipulation of sexual habits seems to be a means of interfacing with and manipulating wider orientation. This post isn’t really about masturbation at all. It’s about exercise.)
I should mention that the idea that fitness might not
originate
with exercise, although it is definitely
a result of it
, isn’t an Elephant.

The idea seems to imply an almost animal way of thought to me. Implying that you're more prone to be active when you're not satisfied (by sex or food or something else). Plus the endorphin release from exercise probably substitutes a part of the satisfaction you might be missing. |

Well, I'll veer away from the sexual part of it & talk about fitness. Sex is so complex & worth talking about but I'm not sure I even have enough well-formed ideas to address it. As far as fitness, I've worked out for the last 25 years, and dissected a human body in medical school, so I have some ideas about musculature at the least. (ok, lame attempt to establish some sort of credentials). I'm a firm believer that fitness has to come from things that we do in our everyday lives if we are do practice it consistently. For instance, I don't believe in gyms; instead, I carry a pedometer in my pocket and set a personal goal of walking 7,000 steps a day. In practical terms, that means I'll decide to park my car farther away from buildings, walk to meet friends at a bar, and take public transportation. I also keep a set of 15 lb dumbbells in my bedroom. When I walk by them and get the urge, I'll do 10 reps of a single exercise, like French press for instance for the shoulders, and then walk away. That way the exercise thing doesn't get too onerous. I feel great as a result, with that "exercise glow." I kind of blew by the relation between exercise and fitness. I believe that doing anything repeatedly tends to aument that. Fitness, I was taught, consists of four elements: speed, flexibility, strength, and endurance. The right kinds of exercise could address each one of these. I personally tend to skip the flexibility stuff. Maybe one day it'll come back to get me. |

Fitness- 1.Diet -4-5 meals a day -20+ grams protein each meal -Lots of complex carbohydrates, depending on your goals and exercise regime -a little saturated fat is good, make sure you get omega 3's. Fish oil, flax... -AVOID SUGAR except before a workout, and perhaps after. FRUITS! VEGETABLES!! GREEN THINGS!!! load yourself up with as much of this good stuff as you can, always. Make sure they're organic though, don't eat those chinese imported starfruits or those disgusting pulpy red delicious apples that are baseball-sized that you find in gas stations... 2.Exercise - Just find whatever you love to do and do it. Consistency is good. Also, make sure you get carbs/protein in you shortly after heavy exercise, before 2 hours -perhaps you believe you don't love any form of exercise. You are wrong. find it. -Ok, well, I may be wrong, but if you don't then at least fit walking or jogging into your day - If you have some simple carbs right before, you can actually train your body to start "workout mode" whenever you eat sugar.. it's great 3.Sleep - have regular sleep periods, try not to do much in your room other than sleep - more than 7 hours! depending on age, youngins like me need more 4.Environment -If possible, try not to breath in smog all day 5.Emotional health - Stress- I learned that if I don't take care of myself, I'm not much good to others. I owe it to myself and everyone else to take care of myself.

Right. Also be wary of the difference between weight-bearing and non weight-bearing exercise. Non weight bearing, like cycling and swimming, is easier but doesn't really work you as much. |
