I think ENFP is cool & a great way to meet compatible people. Men & women are welcome to reply, although I am a straight male. I have a friend who started a MeetUp group around the INFP type, then expanded it to all types, and it's one of my favorite groups of people to get together with.

I would come out & straight up be like, Ooooh, you ENFP, me ENFP too, let me drool all over you, and part of me is definitely a horny bastard, but I'm also at a place where I'm like, Hey, if it's going to happen, it'll happen, so in the meantime, chill, & we can all have a good time just doing whatever it is we do as a group, maybe meet in a coffee shop, etc. Just thought I'd add that disclaimer in the interests of complete disclosure. And to not sound horribly boring. Oh, and to up the creepiness quotient. Wouldn't want to get too comfortable.

That's funny. One thing I have learned recently -- although we ENFPs are awfully outgoing, we're also pretty stand-offish in a way. Not so easy to get to know. An interesting dichotomy. Has anyone else noticed this?

It's our safety mechanism. Consider for a moment the issue of love.....if strangers are friends and friends are like lovers, then every time you lose a friend it's literally heartbreaking. It's only natural that you'd be very particular about who was allowed to get that close for the simple fact that friendships typically come and go. >< We get over the pain in time and move on...but it's not really the most welcome feeling. We're too social by nature to forgo relationships altogether, but it's few and far between that reaches the point of interest to an ENFP where we don't forget about them as soon as they leave the room. >.> I know that sounds really mean to say....but there's the truth of it. We don't have the same emotional boundaries that other types do, so it's important to limit who we connect deeply with.

Wow, well put Alyssaria! That makes sense why I feel "heart-string" type connections with people who were close friends even after they're long gone and you are right it's rather painful at times.
