Porcupine Tree Autumn's Grey Solace Echobelly (...although I also like all of cryptonia's choices, and would like to give an honorable mention to Alan Parsons and the Cocteau Twins) |

Sooo much nice music, i can't decide >.< Classical i like; (in no particular order) Händel, Beethoven, Mozart, Bach, Schubert. Contemporary, really depends on the mood. At the time, I really enjoy korean pop because of it's ultra ultra happy feel to it (search for SNSD on youtube) but a few musicians i've listenend to alot and i enjoy are: U2, Bob Dylan, Lifehouse, Tim Christensen, Allison Krauss, Norah Jones, Switchfoot, Carpark North >.< I can't keep it on 3, sorry about that |

If I name them all, the forum will explode. But I'll try to think of some off the top of my head. Hmm... Duran Duran makes me happy - you can't be sad singing Electric Barbarella. I tend to like random songs more than groups, really. And I love musicals. ^_^ Depeche Mode: Enjoy the Silence Expose: Point of No Return Kan Kon: Beg Your Pardon (it's so weird I love it) ...let's just say I love 80s music and save some time here... Evanescence (Depressed/Angry times) Apocalyptica (Nothing beats cello rock) Oh Brother Where Art Thou soundtrack Natasha Bedingfield Nightwish Musicals: Lord of the Dance Spamalot (<3) The Scarlet Pimpernel Jekyll and Hyde (epic music) The Secret Garden Sideshow This is what came to mind right now. There'd be a TON more if I thought about it. |

Sweet Alot of nice music there. I like musicals as well, but i guess the ones i've seen are more classical ones >.< Moulin Rouge, Phantom of the Opera, Rent there's some more, but these i remember right now I like Moulin Rouge and Rent, in spite of the heavy-handedness of the latter. The former is really trippy XD My sister is on tour with Phantom at the moment - she's the understudy for Carlotta. I like the music...but the storyline just drives me crazy. It's so disjointed and lacking so much of the plot. >.> It's an epic show. I won't deny that it looks absolutely stunning...but it does still lack alot. Alysaria, have you seen Wicked? I REALLY want to see that one. No. Unfortunately it was sold out when I had the chance to go. That would be pretty awesome to go see. I've seen the Producers - that's a pretty fun musical to see live. I've also seen Spelling Bee; it's hysterical, and I totally recommend it. I saw Cats...and fell asleep. Overrated, ridiculous musical about something pointless and silly. A few other musicals I like: Once Upon a Mattress Children of Eden (We managed to get the rights to do it my senior year in highschool. I was Eve. Didn't get to play both her and Mama Noah because the range is written for a black woman, and little white girls can't generally do both classical and jazzy well.) Into the Woods Les Miserables (even if it depresses the crap out of me) |
