I love sheeps. I'm planning to learn keeping them in near future. Their manure is good for biogas which I plan to use on house heating and greenhouse heating.

You should get a goat as well. They'll eat all of your garbage and turn it into milk.

Goats are wonderful animals. I had two of them cleaning out the weeds on my land. They were eating and shitting all the time. It was like a cleaning machine working all the day. I rarely seen them stop eating. They begun to stink though. By the end of October and beginning of November the owner (neighbor) decided to cut them for meat (they were male goats, that why they stink, you probably guessed why they stink by now). They didn't provide any milk and they were seen as excess weight to the owner (he had to feed them during winter, nobody wants that). I felt sorry for the goats though. They were going to die without having any sex. They were young. Perhaps too young to die. Whatever.

Jan,

I guess you can feed them with leftover beer in your bottle. That is if you don't mind them walking and burping all the time afterwards (if not crossing their eyes and dieing right away).
