I used to listen to the Counting Crows with my younger brother. Just recently, I got to see them in concert with him, for sentimental reasons. It was amazing, even though my musical tastes have changed considerably since then. I think Adam Duritz is an ENFP. |

I was, embarassingly, a huge Marilyn Manson fan. I now realise that he is a pretentious fool who has exhausted his very limited talent. |

How rude! It's okay, I'm better now. Bob Dylan has been my Marilyn Manson for the past five years. |

I know this is off topic, but: what are those blue things below our MBTI type tags? And why do me and snail have the most? And why are sbalbom's red, not blue? |

I think they're some measure of activity on the forum... but I've no idea what the settings are that make them go up. They start out blue, and then turn green, and then I believe red, followed by yellow. How many little squares are filled up is, I think, measured strictly by post count.... but I have no idea what changes it from one color to the next. It seems pretty random, to me. |

My taste hasn't really "changed" only broadened. I like everything from Glenn Miller, and Big Band to Japanese Pop to Swedish and Nowegian Blackmetal. What I listen to at any particular time really depends on my mood. Favorites now: -Malice Mizer -Watain -Glenn Miller -Rammstien -Ronnie Magri -Led Zeppelin -Rolling Stones -Guns 'N Roses -Miyavi -Muse In my early teens it was pretty much only metal/punk/jrock/hard rock. favorites then: -Marilyn Manson -Children of Bodom -Sex Pistols -Rammstien -Sublime -Malice Mizer -Dir en Grey -Led Zeppelin -Rolling Stones -Dresden Dolls -Jack off Jill -Muse Could've been worse. I could've been into boy bands. I grew up with 'Zeppelin, Prince, Guns 'N Roses and the 'Stones. They're sort of my nostalgia, so to speak. Wild Horses, You Don't Have to Go, Kiss, and Welcome to the Jungle are still some of my all time favorite songs. |

I barely remember my teens. But I was listening to Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, some country, some pop, Queen, The Cars, Pat Benatar, The Pretenders and who knows what all. In my late teens I started listening to stuff that wasn't as mainstream - Boy Meets Girl and QuarterFlash. And my taste in music is still just as eclectic. I've got all sorts of strange stations on my car radio. And I can't find a MoTown station in North Texas to save my life. BooHoo!!! (that early 60s influence from my parents juke box) |
