I was just curious if I was the only one here who enjoys the show Metalocalypse on Adult Swim and likes the music of Dethklok. To those who don't know what the show is, its a cartoon about the world's most popular band, Dethklok. They are a death metal band and are so successful that they have become the world's 12th largest economy. When concerts or album releases are delayed, fans worldwide resort to suicide, riots, and terrorism. Despite the zealous behavior of their fans, Dethklok despises them so far as to having a song called "Fansong"; the entire song is about how much they hate them.

The band members tend to be clueless on how to do the most basic functions in life. This often results in the outrageous, but hilarious deaths of those around them. Some of my favorite moments are them apologizing for almost destroying Finland during one of their tours, but summoning a massive, bloodthirsty troll in the process and when they go grocery shopping. The Sweedish guitarist calls the grocery store a "foods library". I can't really find the words to explain the humor. You just have to check it out for yourself.

Oh, and they have their own army of soldiers and servants dubbed "Klokateers". The mortality rate is outrageously high and even just to become one requires all the potential recruits to get in pairs and fist-fight to the death. I fashioned myself my very own Klokateer badge.

It's a funny show, even if most of the humor is pretty crude. >.> It's got that hidden, deeper meaning angle that makes it more than just any other show on Adult Swim....even though I readily admit that I watch that crap. It's an "it is what it is" kind of show....off in its own little subcategory... The music rocks...but I can't understand a word of it

And here comes Alysaria to save the day by putting into words what I could not.

And yeah, the lyrics are very hard to understand clearly. It's taken me forever just to understand most of the songs on the first Dethalbum. Note that I said most... Hehe.

It's a funny show . The music rules.

Glad to see there are some other fans on here. Do you all have a favorite part? Mine definitely is the song for Toki written by the sick girl. Gives me goosebumps everytime.

Well, I'd obviously recommend it. Its not everyone's humor, but I think you should give it a shot.
