Just curious to see what kinds of games ENFPs enjoy playing.

Or if they do at all.

Consoles? PC? Beer pong?!

I'm neither an ENFP or an INTJ, but I like games a lot so I'll chime in.

I generally like strategy games. Risk, Stratego, Shogun, Axis and Allies, Fortress America, et cetera. My favorite games have an element of foresight, eliminable opponents, and an element of chance.

Chess is the best game ever!

Tactical-style wargames are good-- Jutland, Panzer Blitz, etc. The hex-and-counter stuff is great if one can find a person with the interest and patience for that kinda thing. The gaming community in Chicago happens to focus a lot on Eurogaming-- stuff like Puerto Rico and Settlers of Catan, though there's a wide variety of other styles out there. There are even a few places to play Warhammer 40K if going hardcore nerd-style is called for. Though yeah, I like the strategy games.

^_^ Yay for games!

Left4Dead (1 and 2)
World of Warcraft
Spider Solitaire
Boggle
Scrabble
A few of the games on Neopets.com
Sudoku

I have a Gamecube with a couple of games:
Baten Kaitos (1 and 2)
Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem - it's really cool because you have a sanity meter and if it goes down, the game messes with you....like first you'll hear weird sounds. Your character will spontaneously have their head fall off....or even stuff that looks like the game broke or your tv muted itself.

I love most group games, if I can get enough people to play:
Apples to Apples
Balderdash
Tribond
Taboo
Dirty Minds
Trivial Pursuit
Most card games

As for physical/sports type games....
Tag - any kind
Bowling...although kind of gross to wear those nasty shoes...and those greasy holes in the bowling balls... >.> Still, it's the experience
Rollerskating/blading
Badminton

I wouldn't be against a impromptu game of hide and seek....or mother may I....or Red Light Green Light

Could you imagine an ENFP get-together? O.o Renting out a nice conference room somewhere....the hotel manager would peek in to see if we were doing alright....and discover a game of Red Rover in progress.

>.> As a weird side-note....my ENFP father told me once that he sometimes has fancy dinners with his supervisors......and they'll start a foodfight. O.O Of course, the waiter/waitress will get a $100 tip afterward for the trouble.

yesssss starcraft. That, Diablo II, and occasionally Oblivion are the only three games I really play anymore. Can't wait for SC2 to come out.  I used to play a ton, though.  The xbox Ninja Gaidens and ikaruga remain my favorites... though I also loved the Final Fantasy series and newer Zeldas too.   Oh, and pokemon.  Dunno how I could forget that one, with my avatar.

Some board games are fun; I enjoy Settlers of Catan as well, at least. Card games are my absolute favorite, though! <3 spades, euchre, chinese poker (variant one of our friends played in his math club in high school... have never heard of our version being played anywhere else), pinochle, oh hell, and bridge (though we don't really know how to bid, we still enjoy playing it). I'm not very good at texas hold em, but I enjoy that too.

Chess is also fun here and there, but I'm not good enough to hang with people who really know the game.

One of my ENTP [he says he's a hybrid-type, mixed with INTJ, but no INTJ would talk to that many people simply because he's bored/wants communication] friends gets to beta-test SC2. He was really excited about it.

I love puzzle games--jigsaws, especially. I was the only girl on my elementary school chess team. I want to learn how to ice-skate. I like playing badminton and table tennis. [Tennis requires too much running. ] And I absolutely love Red Rover. xD

Sadly, I lost my expansion CD key a long time ago, and I've since gotten a new computer... so I can't get onto battle.net with it anymore. I just play occasionally on the college campus network thing, so I don't have to go on bnet for it.

*shakes head*, cracking the CD-key is not terribly difficult (or, rather, there are programs that auto-generate them for you), but that only lets you install the game... not get onto bnet. Blizzard has also released a patch that lets you play without the CD already (which is what people usually mean when they say "crack it"). The thing is, I still have my cd... just not the case. Unfortunately, the case is the thing with the valid cd key, which is what i need.

Huge fan of strategy and action games:
Strategy:Chess, Rise of Nations, Age of empires (I-III plus expansions), Total Wars up to Medieval II, Lord of the rings:BFMEII(plus expansion), Civilization III-V, Empire Earth II.
Action: Call of Duty IV-VI, Halo I-Reach, Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
I don't like MMORPGs because they feel so repetitive and unskilled.

Bahahaa.. Sbalbom, you are hilarious!

As far as gaming goes, I love the Splinter Cell series! I also got addicted to KOTOR around 3-4 years ago.. Haha.. Apart from that, I haven't had much time for video games.. But I have all the time in the world for Poker!

I also like Uno! Anyone else like Uno?
Blackjack!! W00t! 5 Card Stud! Texas Hold'em! Hehe.. Card's are fantastic in general..

Oh yes, I also went through a stage where I was addicted to solitaire. I may be still addicted, just haven't played it in a while because of lack of time..

The old adventure games - King's Quest, Space Quest, Quest for Glory, Monkey Island, Discworld. Giong around exploring a world and talking to people, lots of lateral thinking, a strong storyline, and humour.

Love Real Time Strategy games like Starcraft II and DotA from warcraft III. I have been known to play the exceptionally nerdy card game called "Magic the Gathering" but you will never get me to admit to it. I also have a thing for poker.

Please, please, please, enlighten me to your father's profession. Sounds absolutely odd.

The newest computer game that i play is Minecraft. Since i am not an S, i don't care about the graphics and am more interested in the creativity around it^^ It is a great game. Basically it's a world of blocks and you mine through them and then can build stuff with it. In the night the monsters come out and you can build traps and craft swords armors etc with the things you mined previously. There is also a lot of other stuff. You also have to eat and you can make wheat fields or brew chicken to eat. Then there are mushrooms and tree which you can dung so tey grow instantly to mega mushrooms which you can then mine^^.... It is still in development and new things are added like every two months. In the next release you can craft snowmen which hurl snowballs towards the monsters lol. That's going to be awesome.

The world is randomly created and you can give a seed which can even be a word or a sentence as a world generation seed. There are whole pages in the internt that deal with the most beatiful seeds...

EDIT: OH AND YES YOU CAN MAKE SERVERS IN WHICH YOU CAN BUILD TOGETHER BIG STUFF. I am in the process of figuring out how to make one... (and have enough bandwidth etc.) enfp server anyone?^^ (We would of course use a seed that has something to do with enfps^^)
