The yawning kitty is not doing alot urge me on. I did listen to an hour long discussion on NPR last summer regarding the decline in bee populations. It's kind of a big deal. We need bees to pollinate. I'm generally a minimalist in regards to pesticides / herbicides because poison is bound to effect more than the target. But I acknowledge that this might not be the issue here. Although it seems an obvious possibility or contributing factor.

Beyond that, the bird / fish death issue may just be a random coincidence. And I admittedly have no idea if this sort of global incidence has happened in the past. Maybe it has and we just don't know because of a lack of cohesiveness in reporting between countries / states. But I'm incilned to believe it should at least be considered in global patterns.

Hmmmm, I seem to recall hearing the bees were on the rebound, but I have nothing to substantiate that claim.

As for the birds (Hitchcock was fantastic, only "scary" movie I've ever seen), I'm willing to bet that the birds were feeding in some contaminated/poisoned source, and that the adverse effects occurred on the same time scale. I've been interested in hearing reports from the biologists for some time now.

Yayy, no Fox. xD The only fox I like is on fire.

Ahaha, flying drunk? xD For some reason, I got this image of a hungover redneck who managed to steal a flying car from some scientist living in a basement and was flying around, cackling and firing his hunting rifle at them. But upon reading it, I was enlightened...
