I don't belong to any party. If there were ever a candidate I actually trusted who had any chance of winning, I might actually vote, except that it would involve registering and giving out my personal information. I wanted Ron Paul to be president. None of the other choices were even slightly acceptable to me.

I think there are a bunch of libertarian everyone-but-SJs. All the people at INTPf and I think the INFPs of personalitycafe were overwhelmingly libertarian as well. I'm beginning to think that there are enough SJs voting republican/democrat to pad the vote so that no third party really has a chance, without an overwhelming voting % and a random, unfounded (given the history) hope of winning if they all voted the same.

It is also possible that we NP types are less likely to actually vote, even if we are willing to advertise passionately for our chosen candidates, which might give the SJs an even greater advantage.

I think the libertarian thing is more of a generational thing. Most people under 30 are tolerant and want limited government intervention in social areas.

The Regan collilition is now 30 years old and is dead.

Politics. Blah. If I wanted to watch a bunch of cranky people argue, I throw a bunch of ESTJs into a room full of beligerent ENTPs...and no air conditioning...and no furniture except for very uncomfortable chairs...and no windows...and nothing else to use as a distraction from each other.

Republican. Can't beat killing the baddies, economic freedom, and moral decency.

Union thugs, sleazy lawyers, dirt worshipers, nihilist professors, race militants, angry feminists, Muslim supremacists -- DemSoc really isn't my cup of tea.

I wonder how Toe Tappin' Larry is doing these days. Perhaps I should Google him...

Libertarians and liberals tend to be young people because they put more stock in logical reasoning rather than history and experience. Both libertarianism and liberalism sound logical, but they both fail to consider all the facts, which are revealed by history and eventually by experience. They are typically idealistic, but ultimately break on the rocks of reality.

I am tentatively republican, but philosophically a conservative.
Yes, I have feelings. I think.

I have no faith in the United State's political system. I think all politicians are glorified prostitutes whoring themselves out to gain political power, which they then package and sell to the highest bidder. Corporations, interest groups, and secret alliances rule this country.

My city's government has long-since been ruled by an old boy's club that's corrupt as hell, but no one has been able to do anything about it.

Yes, I'm jaded on this topic.

That sounds awesome, but it is too good to be true. Politicians get elected by doing what the public wants, which, lately, involves expensive sacrifices for the Common Good^tm.

DemSoc really isn't my cup of tea.

lol, DemSoc  It's funny 'cuz it's true... I most definately unbellyfeel DemSoc...

Moderate, leaning towards conservative. I would like to keep things like oportunity to move up in society, the drive to work hard, action and consequence (good or bad) and the like around, they discourage laziness and whatnot...
