Hello fellows and like and unlike souls

I was reading this old topic :
www.enfpforum.com/Home/tabid/55/aff...fault.aspx
and found this normal line , very normal one to be honest :
I don't know what I want
and it ran a bell .. I also don't know what i want ..
And another point came up .. ENFP behaviour .. we start alot of things then we quit ..
If we started a thing that we really wanted .. It is probable that we will make it till the end .. That is what i thought of ..
So , to get to know each other more and to think about it more , lets think and share what do we really want in life ..
after few posts i will be back to answer myself

INTJ here, but i feel a remarkable similarity with what you are identifying as ENFP behavior. Im not truly sure what i want to do with my life, however, I believe that my ultimate goal would be to find love, and then to find a place where i can do the world the most good(some place that my talents can be expressed to their fullest magnitude and i can truly accomplish something of worth). |

Mr. Misery, I think I understand what you're saying. For me, simply put, everything has always come easy. I've always made good grades, I'm a very good athlete... I really don't have to try that hard at anything. I'm just good My thing is that once I feel like I've conquered something or I've gone as far as I've wanted to go, I lose my passion. I have so many interests, but nothing can keep my interest for a long period of time. I may pick it back up later, but I don't stick to anything (unless we're talking relationships.) I found something perfect for me. I've always been great at English, I love teaching, I love people, and I love to travel. I want to do that for the rest of my life, and I will :] It's something that won't be the same everyday. I may be in Spain one year and in Argentina the next. The people will change. The atmosphere will change. New friends will be made along the way. I had to find something that provided me with enough opportunities for change. Perhaps you should do the same ;] |

Every word you wrote hazel applies to me perfectly .. except loving to travel . But I am trying to make this liquid personality of ENFP into something a bit solid so I can have a stable life at one place with one job . I admit , I still don't know what I want from my life , but I am working on figuring that out . The questions in this sentence : "I still don't know what I want from my life" are : - who am i ? (i am trying to un derstand this enfp thing as much as i can , and to modify it as much as possible) - what I want ? ( It needs hard work to know it )

Enjoy embarking on your journey for self-discovery. Perhaps start a spiritual journey? That's when everything fell into place with me... when I got my spiritual life straightened out ;] |

I am trying to take that journey .. Here ^^ In the ENFP land I mean .. here I can learn from older me (or older people like me) or younger people like me .. or even other people who aren't like me (intj for example) I guess I am trying to learn from everybody here , and I am trying to have fun also and feel comfortable and at home ^__^ |

I want to make a really big impact on the people who need a really big impact. Making a difference on this planet is something that I have always striven for. Finding true love is something important to me as well, although I think that is very cliche'd and everyone seems to want to do that. To find that significant other would mean a great deal to me.. My spiritual relationship with God is also very big for me. So making a difference, finding a significant other, and my spiritual journey are all very important things I am embarking on.. |

You make what you want of it.. There are things in life that are extremely important to me.. But, there must be another thread that talks about the things we value in our heart the most...? hmm.. If not, Mr. Watson is going to have to start a new thread.. |

Ahh, so this is the thread you were talking about? Ok.. So this is where I can post my meaningfulness and not get ridiculed because I am amongst people of 'like-mind' fantastic.. Alright.. "They say you never know what you got until it's gone. This is why one must treasure every moment. Because time is precious, and the people you fill that time in with are important. You fall down on the ground, so pick yourself back up again. As far as the future goes, we don't know for certain what is going to happen, but we do know how to write a story. We write our future as we live life in the moment. Waiting for something precious or sacrificing something in the now can be well worth it, if the future turns out good. Life is precious, and so are the people you share life with." ENFP wisdom for the day.. |

Hahaa.. We are actually a part of a triplet to be honest.. My best friend is an ENFP, and we feel as though we are brothers at times because we are the same in many different ways.. Haha.. Oh yes, and the ENFP I mention so often is the other dude pictured in my currently profile picture on Facebook.. lol. He is a legend.. Oh yes, the values thread, which seems to be talking about everything else BUT... .. Ok.. Time to regurgitate quote of wisdom in the Values thread.. That is, if my brain will let me atm.. |

Yes, there is.. Hehe.. And when he get's married, (which I am not too certain how soon it will be) but when it happens, I have some hilarious stories to talk about at the reception.. ENFPs are good at embarrasing their friends.. |
