My INFJ friend practiced for a few years, but never really found a group to belong to....It's pretty easy for NFs to get into anything metaphysical. I've poked around a little out of curiosity, but never practiced. I think I never got into it for the same reason I'm irritated by bumper stickers with people's beliefs on them. It irks me to no end - first of all, because it's like a drive-by...it's a heavy-handed slap with someone's beliefs, but in a way where they can be impersonal and uninvolved. >.> And it's also like a challenge when it's overdone. Face it, if you put 8 anti-abortion bumper stickers on your car, you WANT someone to notice "Yea, I'm prolife, wanna fight about it?!" >.> Ok...I'm done ranting. Sorry >< Pretty much, if it makes you happy and you aren't hurting anyone (including yourself), your lifestyle is your own business. |

I looked into Wiccan. But like all religions - too many dang rules. So I just practice my powers by myself. LOL!!! I would love to find a group that's not too serious and just into the fun of being a Witch. |

I don't have a lightsaber, but I do have force powers. I'm not sure if they are Jedi or something else. LOL!!! Basically, I can't remember what Jedi force powers are. LOL!!!

Jedi powers would be: Prescience, telekinesis, mind reading and mind control, healing self and others. Of course, INTJ would not bother with Wicca, we're more interested in the darker powers *evil laughter* |

I feel that after researching this "religion" I cant find any solid beliefs or basis that allows faith to be used |

Faith is a belief in something that cannot be proven....so there's no real way to argue against someone's beliefs, no matter how little sense they make to you personally. |

But technically can anything be proven? How do we know for sure that 1+1=2... its always possible that it could turn out to be 3 |

Every principle like that was decided by people as a symbol to stand for something else a very long time ago. Numbers, letters, etc.... I suppose you could disprove the symbol.....but the idea behind it, what it represents, remains. A rock is a rock regardless of what you call it.....taking away the word or calling it something else doesn't change the essence of what it is. 1 is 1 because 1 is the symbol for a single unit. 2 is the symbol for a second unit and so on. A single unit will still be a single unit no matter what you call it....so even if you can disprove 2 or call it 3....the essence of 2 is still 2. It's more abstract ideas....like love, hate, empathy, fear, etc....that aren't so definable. The concept of a deity or greater power is the same way.....it's such a personal definition that any 2 people aren't going to have exactly the same concept of it. I mean, love may be love....but there are so many variations....and one person's negligence may seem like indulgent love to someone else....likewise, autocratic authority may be a form of love by providing structure and responsibility to another person. None of them are really wrong....it's all very subjective. |
