That is simple - it is the bambi effect - or otherwise known as the scheme of childlike characteristics.

Japanese culture is totally immersed in the "scheme of childlike characteristics..." They even have their own word for it - Kawaii. They also have catgirls, etc... it is somewhere between the line of cute... hilarious... and scary. (So scary it is not a line anymore?)

Hmm... I've always preferred dogs over cats. Cats are too vain for my liking. And me being allergic to them doesn't help. Dogs are very SJ, I'll give you that (ie. they're very loyal). And i wonder if you could then say cats are NT like As for N's preferring cats... not sure.
