Hmm...where is the distinction? You can be two different people, depending on your mood and what you choose to show to other people.

Of course they're always being themselves--they can't be anyone else--but they choose whether or not they want to show it, and they choose what they want to act like. And in choosing, they're being themselves, because only they can dictate how they act.

...I don't think that made sense.

You make me wish I lived near you schizo. Frankly, I think you need to find someplace outside of your room to go to. I'm not saying you should start hanging out at clubs or big huge social places.....but find something that appeals to you. I think that if you get into a group that you're comfortable with, doing something you enjoy, that you'll be more open to approaching other people.....or relaxing your guard enough to not be intimidating to those who might approach you. >.> An ENFP won't be put off by a dark look, because we find that INTJ stare amusing, but other types that are just as friendly and would make just as good friends.

Meh.
I think I'll just revert back to no display picture.
If it's that big of a deal.
And anyway, the people I socialize with for the most part ARE over the internet.
Consequentially, I think I have this forum something to offer. :x

I wasn't suggesting you leave the forum! NEVER! -hug- I was just saying....real life relationships. There are really good ones that are worth discovering. Sometimes internet friends disappear....and then what do you do?

Are you on INTJ forum schizo?

Not that we're the most *usefully* supportive or helpful lot in existence.

Hi Schizo, I meant to post right after you posted this but my dumb boyfriend (if you can call him that anymore) walked in and almost caught me doing something social over the internet. *gasp* That would have sucked.

I was just going to say that I will be your friend as well and I rather liked your pic. Like they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. To me, it said you have a kind of emotional torn angsty thing going on. Not bad. I'm kinda that way too. Forgive me if I have made a totally wrong call on that one.

Anyways, I'm here for ya. I never check my email but I do have Yahoo! messenger. My ID is, coincidentally, Danstar012. I need to set up a Google thingy (whatever it is, I haven't really looked into it) since I have a gmail account as well. So, hit me up if you'd like. I'm a girl, you're a girl. At least we have one thing in common.

Thats why its cool to hang out here and not promote other forums.

Hey if you click on "ENFPchatroom/phone. You just sign in and you have access to the chat room. If you plug in headphones you can use it as a free phone to chat 24/7. I put in a lot of work installing that program

@Danstar012
Well, I don't have Yahoo.
Erm, geeze, guys. Just because I take a picture, it doesn't mean it expresses my whole life or personality.
I raise my eyebrow and am a little off-put by some of these comments. I mean, I don't expect you all to think it's the jolliest thing ever, but I haven't made any sort of comment on any of yours.

@Zsych
Yes, I am on the INTJ forum. I'm well aware it's not such a good place to go to talk about personal matters, lol.

Lots of people talk about personal matters - the nature of the support offered is different though

And you went from your own pic to Jekyll and Hyde

Anyway, people are giving their thoughts because you asked for them.

Just so you know, I liked your picture fine. I even thought you looked somewhat attractive. That is not to say that if you want to present a warm and friendly personality, that that is the picture you would use... it really depends on what you're trying to do. Still, this isn't really a matchup site, so putting on your most lovable face for us is unimportant

Haha. The thing is, I don't feel lovable! Lovable is not what I represent. I'm me. I'm books and computers and things. I'll let other people be lovable. To each his own, yes?

Anyone and everyone is lovable. There can never be something that will never suit someone's taste. In the same vein, you can't suit someone's taste exactly; but that's the nature of love--it's imperfect. And I find books and computers and things interesting.

Don't think your brothers don't see into you. You want to be loved, which means you want to be lovable (even though the idea of changing ourselves fills us with anger )
