I underachieved relative to my potential, really badly. I know it's a really good school, and I can only imagine what the parties at a school with 50000 people will be like. Plus, I'm going to room with a really good friend of mine..... but I still wish that I had achieved to a level that I was capable of, and hadn't wasted my time becoming the 13th ranked call of duty player in the world....

BirdsallSa, UT is an excellent school.

Its my rival school and even *I* have to admit its pretty grand! If its not too personal, what are you studying?

Most of all, UT is very large and there are a TON of opportunities. Take advantage of those!

I never thought I would be able to do the things I did when I was at Texas A&M (same rank as UT) but now I will probably be going to grad school at an ivy league. Anything is possible, really. UT at Austin has a VERY good reputation. You will do excellent, I know it. I know 2 girls who have gone to Harvard after UT, one ENFP male to Princeton, and two people to the American University of Beirut.

If you ever need friends there I can connect you with some people. The most important thing is to get involved! It is a large school and too easy to fall into cracks. Us ENFPs can crumble into loneliness if we are not thinking about it. Good luck!

@Malkavia: I'm going to major in History. I've already gotten out of approximately 20 hours due to my AP scores, so I'll be about a semester and a half ahead. I just have to take one more lower division history course before I'm able to start on the upper division courses, because I'm that far ahead. . After I finish around 5 upper division history courses, I can start on obtaining my history honors (which shouldn't be too difficult, I've always been amazing at history). Of course, I have to take tons of other courses, but the history is what I'm really looking forward to. (And I'm sorry for whining about going to UT before, even if I've underachieved I've had a blast in the process, and I wouldn't trade that for getting a bit more money, ever.)
I'm pretty sure I'll have no problem making friends; I've always been able to get along with just about anybody. However, if you want to give me a little jump start, it would be greatly appreciated.
Good luck to you as well! (Seriously, thanks a lot. You've been really cool.)
