That's great. Finally some people I can talk to. Boris is a Conservative, but describes himself as a Libertarian.
He often resorts to joking around and buffoonery, but is a highly educated and intelligent man.
Some people consider him to be unfocused, but this is only because he has the classic ENFP trait of being very good at lots of things.
He is often very outspoken even against his own party.
On occasions I have been big-headed. I think most people are when they get in the limelight. I call myself Big Head just to remind myself not to be. Brian Clough Read more: http://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/authors/b/brian_clough.html#ixzz1Gi34lDrp

So, someone watched The Damned United. Let me point out from the start there are many glaring historical inaccuracies, but it does highlight the dependancy Clough had on his ' dual' ISTP Taylor, and his clash with Revie ESTJ , who obviously had a very different style of management to his young unorthodox replacement. It was an accident waiting to happen.
Clough went to Leeds without his assistant. Taylor was the man to look after the details, without him Clough was abject to become ungrounded and fanciful.
Leeds had been on the receiving end of bitter criticism from Clough, like all ENFPs he had a strong personal value system and hatred injustice. Leeds had been led to the top of Division One by a Guardian who used rules and tradition, notes on rival teams, tactics and superstition.
Clough was hands on, still young enough to have been a player, trained with his team and had the skills and track record to prove out. No wonder Leeds turned on him.
Reading either of Clough's auto biographies or Don Shaw's Clough's War will fill you in. Don't read Dave Peace's novel of The Damned United, as it is libellous, and very defamatory. The film is much more sympathetic.
Anyway, hope that was interesting, you bunch of Yanks!!!

I'm from England, I have watched The Damned United- and i agree with you 100%. I actually thought he was an ENFP myself after watching that movie. I loved his scene with Revie because i can TOTALLY relate to having that type of interaction with xSTJs.

I oddly think i would've made a great football manager if i'dve had the talent to be a footballer. this might sound fanciful but i always sympathise with what the manager is actually trying to achieve when he does something, rather than the narrow minded views of commentators and the general public. I also feel i identify more with the best managers and how they think- certainly the best managers in the game are almost all intuitives. Ferguson is an ENTJ, I suspect Dalgish to be an ENFJ, Rafa was an INTJ, Mourinho may well be an ENFP- he is certainly outspoken, has a frank approach to reality, and uses a combination of Fi/Te, that leaves INTJ/ENFP and he's certainly more likely an ENFP.

*Waves at Victoria* I'm a Brit ENFP 8D I think you're right about the social conscience differences, but can see the pros and cons of both. I use MTBI stuff mainly more for the whole personal growth side than for any other reason though I have to say.

It's be good to chat MTBI - I'm quite new to it but find it a useful and intriguing subject. Do you have MSN? Mine is katy440@hotmail.com if you want to chat ^_^

I'm not running
It's a little different now
