Let me preface this by saying that I have not read every word in this thread. I may not have even read a majority of the words in this thread. It seems to me though, that this thread has identified a lot of issues/problems. This is excellent. Dialogue and awareness is positive and vital, but I wonder what the next step is. Do any of you have ideas for solutions? I have this tendency to go through this loop where I get all concerned, then overwhelmed. I feel (and I think a lot of people feel) politically impotent. This is horrible and I am actively seeking to fix this, but am no where near a solution yet. I am constantly frustrated that there is no way I will ever feel like I have enough of the big picture to understand and take action. Perhaps the answer is to just pick one issue or just devote your life to seeking as much understanding as possible. Thoughts?

I will give you my secret Nadette. I teamed up with my family members. And we all work for the common goal. It works. And we are not poor. That's the solution I have found so far.
