 Hello,

My name is Chris, I am married to an INFJ, which makes a good marriage.  We challenge each other and I often forget that there is someone in the house with a different persoanlity than myself.  I am looking forward to delving into this forum like I do many other forums where I waste half of my life away.  Anyway, I am having major trouble at work with a sudo passive aggressive a^#%#ole and had to find something in the world that would make me feel better as a person.  I confronted said person today and it did not go well.  I have no idea what personality he is, but it starts with an I and ends with a J (read:jerk) Thanks for listening everyone and I will try to add good postive feedback for our personality type throughout the forum. Hopefully, I will learn how to handle myself a bit better.  Hope you guys are all awesome and  I look forward to interacting with you in the fourm.

Cheers,

Chris

Sorry to hear you had a crap day. I have my share of them recently, so I can relate. You might be able to do some passive aggressive ignoring? That will really wind them up eh, then covertly youtube them so we can have a watch.

Welcome! Do you mind my asking how you deal with the INFJ lack of expression and silence/moodiness/negativity? ...or is that only the INFJ I know?

It is funny you mention the silence/moodiness/negativity.  I am constantly battling the negativity i.e. nothing is going good or nothing good can come of a bad situation.  Anyway, that is my INFJ to a T.  I guess it is why we balance each other out, but I do hear that I am right more often than wrong.   They often do not want to talk until I do not want to talk, which isn't often LOL!  I suppose being married to my INFJ doesn't allow me to have a choice, but I throw myself at music and get away when I can.

Often, I have to be strong and make my INFJ realize when she is out of control or needs rebalancing.  When I cannot win, I go to my laptop and find something else to put my mind into.

Cheers,

Chris Kampmann

Welcome to the forum! I tend to like INFJs. I know A LOT of them.

Why are you trying to win? Is she depressed or something? In my experience with INFJs, battling or trying to win or make her realize how out of control she is will only exacerbate the issue.
