Shalom everyone. I'm new here... obviously (refers post count*)
I've taken the personality quiz, I was referred to it by an INTJ. I later found out that we're near exact opposites, and surely it shows. However we seem to be becoming great friends. I use my feelings to form opinions and she loves to bash them down and challenges my feelings with logic. It helps me learn and grow stronger opinions. She's more into all the reading up and stuff, but I've dedicated a fair amount of time into doing so...
Most of what I've read has been very accurate, and I love being read like these personality tests do. My friend found her INTJ forum, and shared with me the content. It was very humorous and organized. So Google brought me here.
I'm slightly shocked. In a good way? Not really. For one thing, sort of expected by real none-the-less, there's no sense of organization. Everything's all over the place... not to say I'm organized myself but still. It's crazy in here! Everyone's having a party. Do I fit, then? I expected more organized thoughts.
None-the-less, name's Ted. You can call me so.. or Theo, Theodore, Teddy, Teddington, Tedward, whatever pleases you. I'm highly interested in philosophy, mathematics, and the linguistic arts. I keep my hyper socializing for the real-world, thank-you very much.
I'm curious to see how it works around here. Why aren't we more organized? I know I'm not an organized person, but I appreciate a nice and organized page of ideas, and the web designer side of me isn't digging the color scheme
Well, that's me and I'm all that. Where do you find your place in a circle of friends? Personally I get around to everyone, and the rare occurances of people not-liking me are due to misconceptions, and it bothers me until I talk over it with someone to make sure I'm right. If I'm wrong, I adjust accordingly.
Cheers,
Tedward.
---------------
I'm not usually so critical, however if you're anything like me as the personality test claims, I expect to see some clear responces. |

Welcome, welcome. It is a little....crazy here....but the site (since it's run by an ENFP) is constantly under work and being changed here and there. I do know what you mean about the organization though....It could use a few more specific forum threads to keep all of the posts unified by description. >.> I can spend a good long time looking for old posts for quotes because there are 3 or 4 different places that topic could've ended up. Definitely make suggestions. ^_^ Sbalbom is a pretty cool admin who pays attention and does whatever he can to make the forum better. |

LOL I thought I did a good job of organizing it. I kind of stole the INTJ organization. |

Greetings, Tedster. See, new name
Part of the charm is that the forum reads like an organic conversation. A thread could start on puppies and end up on military tactics. Although I do see the difficulty someone new might have keeping up with topics or digging through previous discussions to find specific information. Might become more of an issue as this place grows. Blue? I like blue! At least it's not pink glitter or something.
I guess you need INTJs with whips yelling OFF-TOPIC! *wha-tish*
IRRELEVANT! *wha-tish*
THIS POST HAS BEEN MOVED! *wha-tish*
THIS THREAD HAS BEEN SPLIT! *wha-tish*
he he he

Well, when you're born, they dip you in salt. The rest is history. |

I'm considering getting a bag of pretzels because you just said salt. Or maybe researching cool pictures of salt pillars. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3006/3092689897_0cfd1e11b1_o.jpg |

Haha. Don't get me wrong. Everyone has to like some takeout. But McDonald's is just abhorable. |

McDonald's cheeseburgers are ehh. I prefer Burger King. But microwaveable White Castle burgers are the best. |

Culvers burgers are my greatest weakness. We used to have a restaurant out here called Double Nickel - it was a 50s theme burger place with a juke box and all sorts of 50s collectibles on the walls. They had the best cheesy fries EVER!! And they also had seasonal concretes (kinda like a Dairy Queen Blizzard...only thicker). They had a girl scout thin mint one in spring....and in autumn they had the most awesome pumpkin pie concrete... I remember going in there, getting a big order of fries with my burger, a concrete....my dad would get a green river to remember his youth hehehe....and me and my sister would immediately beg for a quarter to play Leader of the Pack on the juke box. |
