Hello, ENFPs, shining and bubbling with light and colour (in comparison to myself, that is).

I am an INTJ, and I am struck by the seeming codependence between ENFPs and INTJs.

While I do not have more friends than I can count on one hand, myself, I find it interesting to whisper sweet nothings into my computer speakers.

This is where you guys come in and enlighten me a-propos to what it is you exactly think and feel, for there is always learning to be done.

I await comment.

PS: I don't think I'm ever going to use any of your emoticons, respectfully.

Hi from the spotlight, center stage!

I'm very excited right now. We'll shortly have pics for everyone to use in their posts... if they want...

Welcome to the forum Schizo!!!

Where are you from? Where are you in life? how old are you? Do you know ENFPs? Why did you join? How did you find us? What colors do you like? Where do you like to shop? Where do you like to eat desert? What color is your lightsaber? What kind of spaghetti sauce do you like? What kind of coffee?

And I'll add to that list of questions and hope you aren't too daunted:

If you could name a star, what would you name it? Favorite drink? What make is your computer? Do you listen to music in your headphones even in an empty room? Which do you like better, the sound of rain or silent sunshine?

Welcome to the forum.

Oh my. You all seem quite fascinated by a character such as myself.
The things I've read are true.
-holds arms in front of face- Your spotlight is ever so bright. My skin, it burnssss.

I'm at least 20 years older than I appear.

I'm an Italian (one quarter this, one sixty-fourth that) from Canada.
I'm in studying languages and I've got a lot of work ahead of me.
As for my age, I've been alive for two centuries, three decades, and two millenia, and I'm under twenty.
I joined because of the seeming coagulation between ENFPs and INTJs. I am also part of ther INTJ forum.
As a matter of fact, my dearest friend in this city is an ENFP (not to mention my only mutually classifiable friend).
Secretly, it bothers me that your comment boxes don't have spellcheck.
My favourite colour is purple, though I tend to don black quite more often. -pulls shoulders of leather jacket-
Shopping, shopping... I can't say much on that thought. I really only go shopping with a purpose. Ex: I need a new bullet belt, more coffee, some cigarettes.
I like to eat desert in the sanctity of my room, and although I generally refuse desert, the prospect of phenylethylamine in my brain excites me.
Lightsaber? You mean what are the colours of my twin TMPs, Thompson, AK47, and machine gun.
Alfredo sauce is bad for me.
Coffee is best enjoyed with one to two milks, no nonsense, or straight from the jug (I do that sometimes).
On a side-note, sometimes I run places because I'm too impatient to wait for myself to walk there.
If I could name a star, I'd name it Ambrosia, or something that would draw questions which I'd pretend to be undisclosing the answers to, when really, there are none.
I'd basically do it for the lulz.
I'd tell you my favourite drink, but then I'd have to kill you.
My computer is a Dell piece of shit, to be frank. I long for a PC which suits my needs.
My ears are blasted out from listening to metal on full blast all the time, but, God, I swoon when he shouts "GET TO THE CHOPPA! IT'S THE ONLY WAY OUT!" etc. I believe it's the most romantic thing I've ever been told.
I like the sound of rain, but I can't stand when my clothing gets wet and I have somewhere to go or something to do.

Anyway, jeeze, I've written my life story here, it seems. I remain undaunted; I challenge you into scaring me.
Nice to meet you all.

My name is Ren, but my friend calls me Mud.

Hi Schizo! I think you already have a lot to respond to but let me add some more.

Can you elaborate upon your experience with co-dependency and the ENFP? What draws you to us?

Well, let me see.
I have issues with people, to make a long biography short.
The only person who seems to have opened, and captivated my mind at the same time, is an ENFP.
We've done a lot of looking into personality types and such.
I've known him for only a short time, but secretly he's my best friend, even if I'm not his, him being an ENFP, haha.
I'm drawn to you by my compulsion to try and understand everything in the entire world. I suppose you just happened to be next on my list of eye-catching items.
I wonder if I'll make friends here.
I'm also curious as to what draws you to me. Me? Interesting? I usually float by like a spectre. Secretly, I wish I were invisible.

I assume this is all incredibly unfathomable to you. My dear ENFP can not understand my obsession with being alone and the dark, kekeke.

Curiosity breeds curiosity?

At least within me it does. Plus, I want to know everything about everything in the entire world as well.

I can understand wanting to be alone and in the dark, I think, but I would rather be alone in the bright sunlight if I am to be alone at all. I can't speak for anyone else but I know I need some time alone to recharge my batteries every once in a while.

What are your issues with people? Are you afraid they are going to judge you?

Afraid? Lolz.
Not quite. It's more the issue of not being understood.
I don't find myself on the same plain as most people. I do not mean to sound cocky by that, but what I mean by that, is that I can't find common interests.
I find to find common social conventions rather trite and disconcerting.
I prefer having conversations in my head, with my wall, with my parrot, with my shoe, when I'm tying it.
This is why I like the INTJ forum... finally a place I can communicate with people of like minds. It's fascinating. I hardly thought there was anyone else with such a... set of traits

Me, sun? If I don't die of the black lung, I'll definitely perish on account of a lack of vitamin D.

Ah gotcha.

I like to think out loud. People probably think I'm insane. Actually, I just like talking in general; seems like I'm always doing it whether I'm alone or not.

So, what are your interests? From what you've written, seems like we might have some things in common besides the whole "alone in the dark" thing.

I am insane, of course.
Otherwise, I wouldn't be me.
I talk to myself more than I talk to people, lol.
I value the feedback more, I suppose.
Interests, interests... well, I'm currently teaching myself German and I've been taking guitar lessons for a few years.
I enjoy video games and other than that, I'm mostly glued to my computer, looking up anything I can think of when I'm not reading.
Eh, it's a impossible to explain myself in a paragraph, ten paragraphs, or if I had a thousand philosophers writing for a thousand years. I believe it's an INTJ thing, ahurr hurr.
People tend to find out more about me when they talk to me for long periods of time. Or so I would imagine.

Well, thank you for the seemingly warm welcome.
Never once on INTJforum have I seen such a strange arrangement of keystrokes as "^_^".

One of the IN(T/F, still up in the air)Ps has been doing ^_^ recently too. It looks great, but I've no idea why it doesn't get used more.

Spell check on the comment boxes.... that's not a bad idea at all. I never noticed, because my operating system (Arch) integrates spell check into everything it does. Or maybe it's just my desktop environment (XFCE), I'm not sure. I suspect most people use that, or have some sort of spell-check plugin in Mozilla, though. Still, maybe we should look into that. It might be nice to make all the perfectionist INTJs feel a little more at ease here.

What are the top 3 or 5 things you find yourself most interested in learning? What in particular do you like about them?

Favorite smilies:

xD

^_^

Etc. Also, am I just crazy, or do smiles have sounds? I see someone's smile and I have this sound in my head. It's nothing that I can really hear or describe, but I can feel it. It's like this vibration or something...it also works with smilies. For example, "^_^" sounds like two notes, both really high-pitched and of the same tone and rather clear.

xD Exactly.

I discovered this recently and now every time I see smilies...gah. One of my friends sent me an explosion of them in one message and I literally had this explosion/cacophony in my head. xD

Also annoying is when I look out the window and I see the tops of trees. I hear things when I'm passing by them and when the tree's really tall, the note's really high; if the tree's short, the note's low. How fast the car goes also affects the musical "line" I'm hearing. It's weird.

wait, are you serious, sakari? That's an incredibly rare gift!

I've heard of such a thing existing, but never actually known or heard from anyone who has it.

Hmmm...I saw sound to color synesthesia, but not the other way around. Still, that's really interesting. I wish I had it.
