I know someone who has synesthesia, but I hate her, damn it all.
It's quite an interesting phenomenon, though.
Reminds me of listening to music. I pick out each part, combine parts, ignore parts, sometimes. It allows me to understand the song further, I suppose.

yeah... that wikipedia page wasn't the best. I looked around for another link, but didn't find any too satisfying ones. Synesthesia is just a phenomenon in the brain where one part of it links to a (usually unrelated) part, so that one set of neurons always fires with the other one. In your case, the "that tree is X tall" estimation part of your brain (as well as some other visual ones, apparently) are just linked with the sound ones. The ones listed on wikipedia are definitely not a comprehensive list. They're just the most common ones.... making you even *more* rare.

Yeeeah, kinda. I don't know, there comes a time where everyone gets to be silly (I supposeeee), but I'm not that way with first impressions and such.
