Hi, figured I'd introduce myself

Just another ENFP girl here, found this site when I was googling the MBTI test to find an online version for some family members to take...read some of the posts and it's like I've found a ton of clones of myself writing about their lives/stories etc. I've found my long lost family! I'm from Michigan, I'm 24, and am so glad to find other ENFP's because it makes me feel not quite so alone since I seem to be surrounded by lots of xSxJ's or IxTx's. That's about the most important things....I'll keep this short mainly because I've already stayed up most of the night reading posts so should get to bed at some point or another.....

Welcome to the forum! I'm glad you're here. It's always nice to find people who think like you, isn't it?

I'm wondering, what does the 8110 symbolize in your username? What's the coldest temperature you can stand? Favorite names?

Helloooo Ange8110! Ya, I know how you feel when you say you feel alone in your reg life. I've been participating in the forum for a short period of time but it's tons of fun and everyone does kinda think like you. It's strange. Seems like you are in some bizarr-o world where people actually understand you.

Well, what I meant to say by all that jibber jabber is that it is great to have you here; Welcome!

Hi,

Yeah I ran across this site right after I took the MBTypology test. I am interested in what makes me tick.   This is my first day here and look forward to swapping traits and characteristics with you and everyone else.

So I wonder if other personality types feel like that too. In some bizarre world where everyone thinks like them. I am an explorer and may visit some of them to see if that is true.  Want to join me? It would be an adventure to find out we don't understand a word their saying and swap notes.

heya ange, though we've already talked a bit... *waves*. If you're used to IxTx's I'll probably be relatively boring.... or comfortably familiar. Will just have to wait and see. Does this separate intro thread mean you'll be sticking around?

And sojourner, very cool name .

Eek yea it took me a while to get back here but thanks for the warm welcome everyone

Sakari: hmmm coldest temperature I can stand....it's usually in the one digits here during cold winters....some winters it's only in low double digits...so I suppose that's the coldest I can stand as long as it only lasts a few months and I get my summer! As for what 8110 is, that's my address number of where I grew up. Favorite names...hmm not sure what you mean by that...names that people have that I've notice and liked? Names that I think "ooh if I have a kid I want to name them that name"? I liked your random questions lol

Sbalbom: I found you guys just googling ENFP information Hmm....the posts I find interesting are the ones talking about interactions with the other types, relationships with other types, etc. I also like the ones where people are talking about weird habits, quirks, or strange points of view or perceptions of things that they have.
And favorite superpower force....probably either the ability to fly or incredible speed (do those count?)

Cryptonia: more likely comfortably familiar! not boring and I sure hope to be sticking around....however I'm in grad school right now so sometimes don't get a lot of free time Plus my lack of technological knowledge makes me slow at figuring out navigation of websites like this....probably should read the help section...

Sojourner: Yea that's pretty darn close! so you know what the winters are like and know all about the "northern" accent don't ya? And that's interesting wondering if the other types feel like that too.... I bet they do at least a little bit, although I'm guessing it's possible that it make even more of an impact on ENFP's because of the way we are? Not sure how to describe what I'm saying...but it just seems like we'd make a "bigger deal" out of it somehow...out of the way we act and the way other people act and suddenly finding other people that act like us. Oooor maybe I'm completely off base, who knows! And we should totally join some of the other types! Might as well huh?

gotcha, gotcha. Where are you at grad school, and what are you studying there?

I agree... I am pretty good with tech stuff, and I still think this site is pretty difficult to navigate.

Haha, since I'm from the South, I can barely stand cold temperatures. Sometimes I'm completely immune to it and bounce around like nothing's happening, but other times I'll get so cold [and the temperature's only in the 30s] I'll start singing opera. The problem is, I don't know any opera. So what comes out sounds like opera in the form, "I'm so co-o-o-ld! *windows crack*" Eheh.

Yes, favorite names that you might want to name your kid or just names that you think are pretty, in general.

Haha, thank you. I try my best.

Cryptonia: I'm at MSU in vet school.....soo since it took me 5 years to get my bachelors degree, 9 years of college . Luckily I really reallllly want to be a vet, otherwise I probably would have given up a long time ago....it's a lot of structured schooling for my very P brain (no pun intended) and I'm forced to be very very creative in finding new and interesting ways of getting myself to study/remember the material Lucky for me, I am a bit creative, and love challenges

Sakari: Haha...that was a very amusing mental picture you gave me what with the opera singing and window cracking I might have to try that opera singing thing when it gets too cold around here....luckily we're having a realllly nice warm spell up here so won't need to deal with cold weather for a bit Where in the south? I have to admit that we Michiganders usually poke fun of you southerners.... 1 inch of snow and you guys go crazy! (or at least people far enough down south do) All in good fun though....definitely would be nice to have shorter winters.
As for names....hmmm.... I really like Gabriel or Raphael for boy names.....and for girl names I like Aurora, Allana, and Miriam. Those are the ones that stick out in my mind as ones I've taken a liking to. I'm sure there are others I just can't think of. I'm curious as to what names you like?

xD The opera singing drew a couple of looks. But not as much as the epic dance party I had outside yesterday. We entertained the homeless people as they passed by the fence. xD

Not even one inch. A couple of flakes and the roads get shut down. xD I'm in Birmingham, Alabama.

Hmmm. I don't know, really. There are a lot of cool names and they slip in and out of my head. I really like Miriam; pretty name! I just remember once someone commenting on my dream and saying that Karma would be a cool name for a redhead. Although I'm not sure if I'd ever want to name anyone that besides a character. It's a lot to live up to. xD
