So here I am.  I'm an ISTP from New York.  I got invited to the forum by someone on meetup.com's MBTI meetup in NY (thank you!). These things I know.  Whew.  Now I can be silly!  Right?

Lightsaber color: lavender.  Or violet.  If a lightsaber could have a flavor it would be violet.  Ha!~taste that, evil dark side sith person!  ehem

Force powers: uh what is a force power?  I could google it but I spend a good portion of my free time googling things and this is supposed to be a silly answer isn't it?  Or is it.. Uh oh.  Maybe I'll google it later out of curiosity.  Okay force powers: well I sometimes force people to notice my existence when I bump into them by accident on the train (what us New Yorkers call the subway).  Then, I generally say excuse me and shuffle some distance in the opposite direction.  If it is rush hour this distance is usually about a quarter of an inch.  It's a tossup as to which is better to have shoved in your face during rush hour, fur or hair.  Fur, at least the kind on the hoods of winter jackets, is kind of soft and fluffy but it gets in your nose and you really want to rest your head against it but you can't because that's weird so it's slightly frustrating.  Hair is more pointy but less nose-invasive, and kinder to animals.  So yeah, I am that person smiling to herself a quarter of an inch away on the train trying to contain a laugh.  Earphones firmly jammed in ears.

Mutant powers:  Not the same as force powers, eh?  This is turning out to be a tricky forum to belong to.  Oh no, must escape!

Heheh, escape time!!!  That whole daredevil thing... yeah it feels so much better being on the edge.  Maybe because I hate restrictions, or at least I want to know what they are exactly and experience them.  But really when I think about it is usually calculated risks with an aim toward pushing my limits.  For example, I love rollerblading fast and doing tricky stuff, but I practice at it.  And yes, I did learn by breaking a knee that you can't be TOO much of a daredevil if you don't want to put yourself out of commission for a while.

*smothers you in hugs* Yay! I now proclaim you resident ISTP expert. Expect lots of questions.

So when you're laughing, is this because you saw something funny on the subway or because you're laughing at something you thought of? What is it you like about ENFPs, specifically? Favorite sport to do? Ever done parkour?

Mealy welcome to ENFP Land. Glad to have you here. We NEED STs around here. Please stick around and give us your prospective abut things.

If you need any help, there is a help section or find the talk back.

Think you can bring more Ss to the forum?

I my ISTP buddy loves MBTI but wouldn't hang out here.

Hi, thank you again for the welcomes.  It feels so nice to be welcomed, although time will tell how useful I can be here.

My favorite thing about ENFPs?  That you ask really good questions?  Haha.  I guess "everything" is not a very enlightening answer.  At the moment I find that I appreciate that not only do I feel like I can be myself around ENFPs, they draw more "me" out of myself, so that in the process of just being around them and talking to them I feel like I am growing in a safe and healthy way.  Me me me.  I like that they seem to value what I have to offer.  I still find them puzzling, though.

My favorite sport to do -- that is a question I can get out of the way pretty easily, it's rollerblading.  I tried skateboarding and would like to be good at it but I haven't had much success.  I like ice skating but I haven't gone often yet.  Swimming is fun.  Running out of sports I do... haha... so we're going to get less sport like... I do a ton of walking, love it.  Parkour... well, you know what?  Yes, I have gone and done a few very mild parkour like moves when the mood struck me and I'd do more if it didn't garner so much attention.  Which brings me to giggling to myself.  Ever walking a fine line between being me and being in society I do often smother outright laughing at the silly things I put together in my head.  The source can be anything, exterior or interior.  Sometimes it's something funny that I might have said.  The other day I was containing my laughter about telling someone not to hold in their laughter.  *Whoosh--universe implodes

This thread could continue without end as I come up with more things I like about enfps but here's a couple more things to add off the top of my head... I also like that I can talk about anything with an enfp, totally ridiculous stuff, or the things we value most in our lives, and they seem to enjoy talking about these things.  They give me a sense of peace and freedom.  My mind seems to swing around like a daredevil of its own and I like how accepting the enfps seem to be of newness.  This thread is likely going to be my favorite, the welcome thread!

Anyway I want to spend time in the community as a useful element if I can and not just a lurker.  Hiking through the woods as well as gazing out from the cliff.  Bringing more Ss to the forum sounds interesting and challenging...

yesssss.... I totally have someone to logic out with now. *high fives*

Nice to have you around. I feel like I win big, with an ISTP to talk to online. I get to listen to a good dose of sense, and when you get bored you can get up and move around/go do stuff without figuring out how to drag me along with you. Really, it just works out awesomely.

Why wouldn't your buddy hang out here?   I did find that I almost forgot it existed for several days... I don't know how that happened.

He doesn't like many Ns and hanging out at a forum doesn't make sense to him. I asked him and he just says hed rather be out enjoying himself.

Ah.  Well I will say that the forum's existence came flooding back into my head while I was rollerblading outside during some really perfect weather.  The breeze whooshing through my hair... I was thinking about ENFPS and thought, suddenly... H DARN! THE FORUM!:   Then I looked around and realized why I had forgotten it.  The outside world can be pretty distracting sometimes.

Haha, it's fine. I tend to get distracted too. Although it's more of a, "I need to post but I can't, I have so much to do." So I read through them and compose replies in my head and then...ah well, why not? xD

I typed another one of my friends as ISTP today--he seems to fit the mold better than my boyfriend does. We had an interesting conversation about chance and purpose and Greek art. I've been spreading MBTI around like a virus. > Only better.
