Hellooooo, la la la!*

First tangent - have you ever seen the Seinfeld episode where Jerry's gf's belly button talks to him?

So, yea, I felt like I've been eavesdropping, perusing through some of the threads here, so thought it would be the decent thing to do and finally introduce myself

I'm relatively new to MBTI - first took the test a long time ago with some friends (result: ENFP, ironic tho, because I'm a bit SHY), but we never delved further into it. At that time to us it was just a fun personality test, a superficial "oh that's who you are, haha". Took the test again ~6-7 years later with a result of ENTJ Looking back, I'm sure it was due to my results/deadline-driven work environment. Some of it was enjoyable, but spending most of my time being analytical/logical with processes and tracking/recording all your work - not to mention around so many S's, but that's another story - whoo boy!

Anyway, I left that (and an ISTJ ex) all behind me~~~  And taking the test again - numerous times, to be sure - and coming out as ENFP just made so many things 'CLICK'. Started looking it up this time and found this forum...and wow, YAY, you get me!

Hm, what else...I like: reading, traveling, lemons, baking, jigsaw puzzles - especially the glow-in-the-dark kind, movies (watching the Oscars now), INTJ's (or at least, one in particular)

And I have a craving for pizza right now, hmph.

Ok, bye bye!

(ps - the whole - sign in with Google Connect thing confused me at first, took a couple minutes to realize I had to register for the site as well? If that's incorrect, sorry, hope I didn't mess something up technically behind the scenes.)

(pps - when I finally got in, all the smiles made me smile!

Ooh! A nice long introductory post. Welcome to the froum!

I love reading. What's your favorite book? Favorite genre? Do you ever try your hand at writing? Lemons are also delicious. I used to eat them raw with my cousin when I visited Argentina. I also love cookies, too! Annnd jigsaw puzzles are my favorite. I like watching movies, but I don't get enough time. And I love INTJ's, too. They make me giggle. A special interest, eh? Hmmmmm. Oh my goodness, where have you been? I'm glad you're here.

Oops, didn't mean to ramble...but thanks!

I go through phases with books - loved brit lit for a while back in the day, then mysteries à la Sherlock Holmes, read every Babysitter's Club, Sweet Valley, HP (oh dear, how embarrassing), and am finally starting to get interested in non-fiction. Biographies are cool too  Just no manuals or tech books, please.

Some favorites:
Curious George - anything, Dr. Seuss - anything
I Know This Much is True, Wally Lamb
Angela's Ashes, Frank McCourt
The Book Thief, Markus Zusak
Devil in the White City, Erik Larson
Little Women, Louisa May Alcott
Pillars of the Earth, Ken Follett

...etc, etc...don't write much, does this forum count?

What color are lemons in Argentina, they were green in Costa Rica, I thought they were limes, and the oranges were yellow!

I just got back from 4 months in Asia, and went to Paris for the first time - my new favorite city!

I think I'm still trying to shake off the -NTJ-ness. HELP.

Thanks for the welcome, you made me feel very welcome

Welcome! Don't mind the NTJs that hang around. We'll try to keep you from joining the darkside

Oh wow, the Babysitters Club! That brought back memories. Did you know Ann M. Martin is writing a prequel, due for release this year?

We are working on making that more transparent.

I love Little Women. Something about it makes me feel really industrious and productive. I always get the urge to eat an apple while reading that part about Jo eating an apple while reading. xD

Ooh, green lemons? That sounds awesome. Unfortunately, they were just boring yellow lemons. But they grew naturally in an abandoned lot beside the backyard. It was fun picking them.

Paris! I want to go to Paris. Je parle francais un peu. xD

Thanks, alysaria and sbalbom! [insert *hug*]

I'll try to gather my thoughts about my ISTJ experiences and start a new thread when I feel I can be completey objective about it, heh  Lovely people, but works best for me at arm's length.

@Esquilax - would you laugh at me if I said I'm kinda curious/interested in reading it? If yes, then nooo, of course I wouldn't read it, silly idea!
and I'll tell you a secret - sometimes I like taking a dip in that -NTJ pool, it's a refreshing break from all that -NF running around!

@Sakari - hehe so funny, I went to go eat an apple when you brought that up...my, what strong ENFP power of suggestion you have!
And I am jealous you speak french..it's so incredibly romantic, even 'toilet' sounds pretty! I tried taking a class once and my professor kept yelling at me, "This is not Spanish class!" I guess that part of my brain was getting activated and confused

Ahaha, I want an apple now. I've been eating so many over my break. French is quite pretty, but there are days when I hate it...sometimes it sounds so slippery and nasal-y, y'know? But I always recover after listening to Jean-Baptiste Maunier.

Wow, Sakari, I am so impressed you remembered to reply after all that time!
I don't know who that is, will have to look him up
And don't know your movie tastes, but both Amelie and La Vie en Rose I definitely love!

Baha, on Spring Break, I didn't have Internet. >.<

He starred in Les Choristes; very pretty voice. Then it changed. Look up Concerto Pour Deux Voix and you'll see what I mean.

I loved La Vie En Rose; I want to watch Amelie.
