I have not read everything that has been said over the past few weeks, most especially since the massive influx of INTJ's. This is primarily just because there is so many more posts now, it is slightly daunting to have to read it all. I wasn't aware that danny had called my pebble pelting childish. I find it disheartening that anyone, especially an INTJ would take serious offense to my little ritual.

I think this entire situation is a little silly, in terms of how it was handled, by both sides. I think it's all clear now, which would appear to be good.

Rogarn, I will respond to this thread a bit more thoughtfully later, but for now I wanted to say this to you: I was unaware that your feelings were hurt, as Psyko stated, at my comment about your pebbles--my comment that she took out of context, mind you. I was not offended by your pebbles, nor have I said so anywhere to anyone. I responded to your playful pebble pelting in kind and picked up boulders many posts later, after the raid and the peas and the video armies were introduced. But, (apparently) according to others, you and I are to be at odds with one another with hurt feelings and offenses taken, respectively.

I find it childish, too, Rogarn--that is, the accusations and malignments--I don't find the playfulness and fun and jest childish at all; I find it healthy. I find that it promotes comradeship and good communication/conversation. Regardless of the comradeship developed, there are bound to be a few . . . and that lies within the individual.  Additionally, it was a minority of complainers that affected the majority.

Well, Rogarn, for the "serious offense" at your pebble ritual that I did not take, I apologize. Apparently those who complain are not content to find issues where none exist and complain on their own behalf, but they must find issues that don't exist for others and stir up discontent there, too.

I will respond to this thread a bit later.

I was not offended in anyway. I just dislike when people take something that I am trying to make humorous or fun and turn it into something offensive. I thought I remember a fairly innocent game being played between the two of us concerning my pebbles. Hence why I was all the more confused why you would be hurt by it.

It seems, as I had thought before reading this thread, that we were on a fairly good understanding of each other.

Rogarn, I agree with you and echo your sentiments as my own. I also thought/think that we have a good understanding of one another, shared and enjoyed some humor, and we are on the same page. Please keep this in mind should you read another response from me later in this thread.

Hi Danny, welcome to the forum.

As I said, no need to feel offended and the apology stands whether you were a little or greatly offended. I ask you kindly to look again at your intro thread which is 14 pages long where you answer your own original post 4 times in 30 minutes, and try to see it from our angle this time. All the new members with all the activity was overwhelming. You did say it was an invasion (maybe not in your thread but in Cooper's,) The other INTJs gave the impression that they had been invited by you over here, you were even counting down for them to join you. Add the talk about minions, the INTJ takeover as well as a less than friendly question to Rogarn for instance, calling his pelting with pebbles rituals at all newbies childish - and you do raise concern in a well established forum. What may be a joke from the person posting may not be perceived as a joke on the receiving end.

Try to see this from our perspective for a moment instead of defending your actions. What is done is done and I'd prefer is if this didn't escalate. I'm not interested in debating about semantics or details regarding this and I do not see how you've been attacked with hostility, but I haven't read every post here in the last few weeks so I apologize if I have missed something.

Let's move forward and not start a war about who said what, we're clear about what we tolerate here, you've been clear that you come in peace, let's leave it at that.

Wow! A rare battle of INTJ vs. INTJ!

I am really curious if vern will share his two cents.

To be honest, I'm glad that mrsteven proposed to take the banner down.

Even I felt a little awkward seeing that sign and it's all understandable how easily that might irk other (or more sincere) INTJ posters.

Anyways, I'm glad to see everything is back to normal now.

I neither understand nor approve of this kind of open hostility towards each other. If you have a problem, work it out, or keep it quite.

That pretty much goes for everyone on the forum, and is something that always be fallowed(no matter how hard it is).

I have been asked to post this for Vern....

'tis regarding that other place Danny invited us to. In response to the message posted on their site by the owner/admin I discontinued my account, vern don't do discrimination, wouldn't join the clan either. The trouble is Coop that I failed to state that I left the forum due to the behaviour of the owner/admin not because of any of the members or what they said. My concern is that the remaining collective members possibly may believe I left because of them, that is not the case. The conversations on there were all fine, I was not offended by a single word typed by any of the membership, I thought they were cute and curious. Truth be told this old lion wouldn't harm a hair on their little bunny heads, if I was hungry for that I would stick to this forum where one can swing an axe and expect another warrior to come back swinging. Been on another 'f' forum, they all ran and hid, I respect their type and need for subtle conversation. I was hoping that if you went on there and had a spare moment maybe you could post on my behalf and let them know I was delighted to spend a bit of time with them, I would greatly appreciate it. As I said account's deleted, can't go back, oh and also, if not too much trouble, add pets yes, many!

Ok...so I haven't been as active as I once was with life and personal crap and all the junk that goes with it. Blah. While I can understand a concern about specific members causing problems (happens every so often, regardless of type. I'm sure some of us remember someone who was not an INTJ drama-ing out the place)....making a blanket statement probably wasn't the best way to address it. Unfortunately, without a working PM system, it's not possible to speak to each of the "troublemakers" individually...and if they were not responding to comments made on the thread itself, it may have been the only recourse sbalbom thought he had. >.> ENFPs are known for poor phrasing at times....

However, there's also no reason to get up in arms about something that wasn't meant to be offensive. The first post was enough. There was no hateful intent behind it....and it was taken down. Dragging around a grudge is as silly as it is pointless.

Everyone is free to come and go as they please.

Lol Sir Benj! We don't have the fancy option of locking anything, so no worries, discuss till your mouths bleed indeed

This is ENFPland where there's no structure, IM or locking opportunities of threads. The moderators don't know each other apart from what we see on the forum, so it's a nightmare for a J, ya gotta love it!!!
