The topic is the idea. This is the third topic I've made.. I don't feel good about it but as a web designer and ex-admin this site is hurting me a tad..

Consider the following:

Community Gathering ftw.

The only difference is that all the "Science" and "Philosophy" forums were combined, ENFP and non-ENFP. I think everything should be unified so that you get across a wider range of topics. I removed the "When you feel calm" and "HYPER" and "Offensive" and "Dating"

If you looked inside of them, either the topics were pointless or could easily be put in another section. And since they WEREN'T put in another section, they were ignored.

Consider merging some of the forums. I'd like to hear the communities response to above proposal.

Happy to do what ever benefits the community! You're the first to give this kind of constructive feedback.

I agree that reducing the number of forums would most likely drive more conversation. Get more people in one place, and they're bound to talk (of course, it's possible to take that too far and destroy the sense of community... but we're nowhere near there.)

The only thing I would argue about is keeping at least one "random" or "off-topic" section amongst the three or four sections getting axed. It seems from my (short) experience so far, that Dating and Offensive just... don't get used. And while we certainly welcome non-enfp here, if they really need to get away from us... there are a lot of other forums . Their off-topic section would be easily merged with ours.

One can arguably even combine "Wine Lounge" and the "ENFP!!1" sections... as I even frequently forget which one is which (surprisingly) but I would feel that a valuable outlet for ENFP randomness would be lost if we had no "general discussion" forum.

Ok I did some pruning. The reason why I keep two random topics, is mainly about google. The members only is blocked by google. If we have great content blocked by google... people cant find us.

I agree, that was great advice!

With lots of subsections, I do agree that this place looked a bit like a ghost-town, now that you mention it. I also do think this layout looks a lot cleaner too.
