I was in the ESFP theme thread and the first song that actually came to my mind was:

and then I remembered:

Not happy go lucky, but nice old songs.

My best two are :

Frank sinatra - my way (very proud ..) :

And now, the end is near,
And so I face the final curtain.
My friends, I'll say it clear;
I'll state my case of which I'm certain.

I've lived a life that's full -
I've travelled each and every highway.
And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.

Regrets? I've had a few,
But then again, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption.

I planned each charted course -
Each careful step along the byway,
And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.

Yes, there were times, I'm sure you knew,
When I bit off more than I could chew,
But through it all, when there was doubt,
I ate it up and spit it out.
I faced it all and I stood tall
And did it my way.

I've loved, I've laughed and cried,
I've had my fill - my share of losing.
But now, as tears subside,
I find it all so amusing.

To think I did all that,
And may I say, not in a shy way -
Oh no. Oh no, not me.
I did it my way.

For what is a man? What has he got?
If not himself - Then he has naught.
To say the things he truly feels
And not the words of one who kneels.
The record shows I took the blows
And did it my way.

Yes, it was my way.

Matt Monru - The impossible dream ( very ambitious) :

To dream the impossible dream
to fight the unbeatable foe
To bear with unbearable sorrow
to run where the brave dare not go
to right the unrightable wrong
to love pure and chaste from afar
To try when your arms are too weary
to reach the unreachable star
This is my quest to follow that star
no matter how hopeless
No matter how far
to fight for the right without question or pause
To be willing to march into hell
for a heavenly cause
And I know if I'll only be true
to this glorious quest
That my heart will lie peaceful and calm
when I'm laid to my rest
And the world will be better for this
that one man scorned and covered with scars
Still strove with his last ounce of courage
to reach the unreachable star.

====================================

As for melodies :

Beethoven - Moonlight sonata (very sad)

Beethoven - Fur elise (also very sad) :

=========================================

But i do have many other songs i do like , and many melodies also .. maybe i will drop by another time to add more ^^

same as alysaria .. it is about songs more than genere , for example here are some of types i listen to :

- swing
- classical songs
- piano sonatas
- rap
- pop
- rock
- jazz
- some jpop (japanese pop)

and maybe there are some i can't recall right now .. but it is not the type (genre) or even the artist .. it is the song it self (lyrics , melody , video maybe , setting i've found it for the first time ... etc)

why don't you share some of your favourites with us in this topic Hazel (I have seen some of Nick and alysaria songs in the other topic Nick posted) ?

(^^" ) where is zsych by the way ?

A song that i am listening to now and wanted to share with everybody :

RONAN KEATING - If Tomorrow Never Comes

Sometimes late at night
I lie awake and watch her sleeping
She's lost in peaceful dreams
So I turn out the lights and lay there in the dark
And the thought crosses my mind
If I never wake up in the morning
Would she ever doubt the way I feel
About her in my heart

If tomorrow never comes
Will she know how much I loved her
Did I try in every way to show her every day
That she's my only one
And if my time on earth were through
And she must face this world without me
Is the love I gave her in the past
Gonna be enough to last
If tomorrow never comes

'Cause I've lost loved ones in my life
Who never knew how much I loved them
Now I live with the regret
That my true feelings for them never were revealed
So I made a promise to myself
To say each day how much she means to me
And avoid that circumstance
Where there's no second chance to tell her how I feel

If tomorrow never comes
Will she know how much I loved her
Did I try in every way to show her every day
That she's my only one
And if my time on earth were through
And she must face this world without me
Is the love I gave her in the past
Gonna be enough to last
If tomorrow never comes

So tell that someone that you love
Just what you're thinking of
If tomorrow never comes

I was kind of hoping that there would be other electronica loving ENFPs...

Do this count?

Hmmm... it's kinda like disko pop I guess. But I like it. I often sing it after a long week.

I'm all over the place when it comes to music. In the end of ends I like anything that stirs my passions from very abrasive music to upbeat feel good music. I'm a big fan of the street poets

This song by Rage is probable my all time favorite: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tqWP1rsAMrw

I find the Kesha hate strange. The song is meaningless but kinda funny.
I had the strangest feeling watching the scene where she walks in, in front of her parents. I thought for a second that if I had a daughter like that, I'd adore her LOL

I kind of had the impression they were some random family who's house she crashed in, too drunk to care. O.o That was what I figured their looks of utter surprise were....I can't imagine her mom would be so unaccustomed to her appearance in the morning that she'd drop a plate.

LOL. Logical consistency fail :p I think it is supposed to be her family since she had her bathroom stuff there.

You see this in any number of tv programs and stuff too, where actors are explaining their positions. You're like ... these people have been together since forever, they shouldn't need to be explaining their point of view as if for the first time.

Who says it was her bathroom stuff? She may very well have just been using some random toothbrush....in fact, it looks like she's just grabbing randomly the way her hand floats over them....the three toothbrushes.
