xD That sounds like an FML/MLIA. I love the idea of Monopoly. I'll start off and buy up properties and stuff but then it just gets...tedious. We should have a bank robbery option or something. |

MLIA is bloody hilarious. I don't see how people can't make the connections! And they wonder why they lose. Humph. (Do I sound to you guys like I need to lighten up, just out of curiosity?) |

Today I was playing Monopoly and I realized that I was the only one who was trying strategically. When you were 12 you spent the afternoon by yourself just rolling the dice, moving a piece around the board and keeping tally of how many times you landed on each place so next time you played you'd strategically purchase the ones with the highest hit rate. Statistically flawed, in retrospect. My research favoured the red and orange properties: high hit rate, decently priced, easy to get houses and hotels on there early in the game to start wiping the floor with your competitors, good returns. Morons go for Mayfair first. Also, you were the only one happy enough to be the banker so you happily obliged and generously helped yourself to the bank for your troubles too Or while someone was away on toilet break you'd form a secret alliance, slipping them money under the table and doing deals to take over the board. Yeah, don't play Monopoly with me. |

*takes notes* The next time I play Monopoly, I'll be sure to win! If we can all pay attention long enough, that is. |

It IS painstakingly long. After a while, I start playing a different game (like slap jack or speed) during the lull between my turns. |

Just an impression. You look like someone who would have thoughts and opinions of her own and might be stubborn about them. I like talking to people who believe in what they're saying... and can actually say something about why they believe what they believe. ... like I said, just an impression. |

the ENFP from my college loves monopoly... I have no freaking idea why. It looks like the most boring game in the world, to me. I will say, though, that he has a stunning win record, in the games I've been around while he's played, and heard people tell me about later... so there must be *some* strategy to it. I've never understood it though. |

Well Zsych, I will take that as a compliment. Thank you. the ENFP from my college loves monopoly... I have no freaking idea why. It looks like the most boring game in the world, to me. I will say, though, that he has a stunning win record, in the games I've been around while he's played, and heard people tell me about later... so there must be *some* strategy to it. I've never understood it though. Yeah, I think that's why I love it so much. I almost always win. I don't really ever have a strategy until I'm playing but I do always try to scoop up all the Railroads and the utilities. They rack up some major green if you manage to get them all. |

@danstar012: How right do you think my impression is, from just looking at your picture? |

Every time I want to switch up my furniture, I draw my rooms out and take measurements, placing them all in specific placing to get the most use out of the amount of space I have in ratio to the space taken up by the furniture. |

Zsych: Pretty good assumption from just looking at my picture. I guess the kinda quirky face I'm making makes me look steadfast and opinionated? I am EXTREMELY stubborn and, yes, I do have my own opinions which I stand behind completely and wholeheartedly. I like to think I can backup my beliefs with, maybe not concrete statistics or data but a pretty good argument as to why I believe what I believe.
Schizophrenia: Wow. Yeah, that is amazing. I am one of those people that kinda wings it; I hang pictures by eyeing it. They are usual very straight. At least they look straight to me. I am just too impatient to take any measurements. Furniture is the same way. Whatever looks right.

Good one! Zsych, of course we can easily visual where the furniture would go, it's more like "given my wall is 1.53m wide, I can fit both my bookshelf and desk along it with 2cm to spare, and only 5cm overlapping the window, taking into account the 1.4cm thick skirting boards and the 20cm lost via the arc of the door swing". I did this moving into our new home, my Dad does this for every room renovation and he's an INTJ too, and I used to work for an INTJ Professor who made me do the exact same thing when we were renovating the lab. |

... before you comment or supply your observation on people's posts on social networking sites, you give yourself a 30 minute buffer to think about whether you should reeeeeeeally press 'send', as you're not sure whether they'll appreciate your wit or think you're a snarky cow.
