The atmosphere here is very different. The colors are brighter, and I keep getting the feeling that I need to be careful about what I'm saying and can't talk freely because there are feeling types here.
How do you guys feel over at the INTJ Forum(intjforum.com), as compared to here? |

okay! lol I will tread more carefully there this time around. Oh, and don't worry about holding back, just chat away, be yourself, post what you feel like because we like you INTJs just the way you are! That's what makes our connections so much fun, we can all be ourselves and are accepted |

I looked through the type interaction posts on INTJforum and read them to my INTJ and INFJ friends. Upon doing so, I was informed by my INTJ friend that he forbade me from ever dating an ESFP. |

If by hang-out you mean regular lurker, then yes . There's lots of great information there. Only recently posted to get my count to 2, because I got tired of missing the hidden links. But it's not super-friendly to newbies, with the whole hazing the n00bs thing going down
Yeah, definitely a different vibe being predominantly INTJ. A lot of poo gets flung around, there's no mincing of words and things are very bluntly worded. I guess assumption being if you're INTJ you can take it, and also know how to dish it back.
Which isn't very nice anyways. My policy is to speak on forums just as I would if speaking to someone face-to-face, with kindness & respect, regardess of "type". I really don't know any INTJs in real life who speak otherwise. Anything cold, arrogant, rude, hurtful, blunt, callous, [insert INTJ adjective here] that comes out of my mouth is accidental. I don't go out of my way to be any of these things, and it's not a persona I affect or exaggerate on a forum, which is the impression I get. Testing as INTJ isn't a license for being an ass |

intjforum is nauseating. It attracts a lot of soulless zombies who use MBTI as a template how to behave. "I'm an INTJ, INTJs act like this, therefore I must act like this" kinda thing. |

I'm not sure I ever cared to consider myself a newbie there. I walked in and decided that I belonged. Period! Seriously there are way too many people there for anyone to know who a newbie is, and I'm not sure people care. I don't think people would welcome you there, but I don't think they want you to feel unwelcome either. We had a meeting of people from the INTJ forum. Admittedly, no one was ENFP style super-pleasant, but it was nice. Anyway, I welcome you guys there |

D: I'm sorry. They've toned it down some. In my defense, I gave you a tackleglomphuggle. Eheh. I'm not entirely sure when the hazing became something fun to something downright gauntlet-worthy, and I apologize for that. |

Well I'm here, and I at least temporarily managed to drop a link to this place before the admins found and removed it I think it would be nice to have more ENFPs there too - get more people together who can get along well. And seriously, if someone is in college, put out a flier for an MBTI test, and put up links to these places |

I recently made an account there a few days ago and started posting. I love all the things you guys talk about, but then sometimes I also feel inadequate to post becuase I'm not INTJ myself. Oh well hahah. |

-shrug- No need to feel too self-conscious about it Rhaz. After all, look at all the non-ENFPs posting here. ^_^ It would serve them right if we invaded INTJ land right back....unless that's their evil scheme... >.> OMG! That's it! It's a trap!!!
BTW: Welcome to the forum |

Yeah... there's something about those INTx sites that just make other people feel incompetent. I might make a thread about it, because I'm curious. A lot of people have mentioned it on INTPf as well . link in the signature? *facepalm* I feel like I should have thought of that ages ago. Google (and other search engine) spiders crawl the internet by following links from whatever page they're currently on. As long as I have 2000ish posts floating around their page somewhere, I may as well put the space to good use..... though google's pretty smart about stuff, so I'm sure they've accounted for that sort of thing. That INTJf rule about not being able to see links unless you have 2 posts is depressing... but really that's all I know of the place. I used to have a fantastic INTJ friend in middle school, but as soon as our secondary functions started seriously developing, our friendship went downhill real fast. When we were both saturated with Ni/Ti, we always seemed to be on the same wavelength. Once the Te directness and Ne easy-to-be-distracted-ness kicked in, though, I think we each lost a lot of respect for each other. Respect is hugely important to INTJs, and tbh I prefer not to fight for it. In the past I think it was because I didn't find people's respect worth fighting for... but I'm making a very conscious effort now not to think of people like that. Once I recognized the arrogance that goes into a value like that, it sickened me enough that I wanted to knock it off. It's still hard for me to relax around J types in general... but I do know some more relaxed ones are nice to be around. I don't think I would get involved in a forum (or otherwise big group) full of them quite yet, though. |
