Speaking of ideas.... Any advice for what type of person would make a good business partner for an ENFP? I assume someone who will actually finish something! LOL.

An INTJ....but only if they respect you.
An ISTJ COULD be....but only if they don't get frustrated and are fine catching the details that slip past the ENFP.

An INFJ would get annoyed with the ENFP penchant for throwing out new ideas or trying to change things....they're natural planners and their projects are their babies.
An ISFJ is a sweetheart....but ENFP tendencies can drive them CRAAAAZY after a while.

An INFP will put on their serious face and get very, very (internally) irate with you for not taking work as seriously as they do.

An ESTJ will ride you like crazy....so if you don't mind getting nagged to death
An ENTJ will start to boss you around....and they'll lose respect for you if you don't fight back every once in a while.

An ENTP will wander off and do their own thing.....and probably distract you in the process.

An ESFP will get distracted by you....and likely derail everything if you let them....and it's very easy to let them.
Another ENFP....is just a bad idea.... ><

I'm not as familiar with other types to give a good desc.

Of course there are always exceptions to every rule....and maturity, experience, and compromise play a big role.

I'm going to keep this to partners... nature of relationship is near 50/50. Also i'm leaving out 3 and 4 member teams. Finally this very much does depend on what your team is doing.

ISFJs make great partners. I'm working with one right now. They get details and want to help the team. They love our vision we love their diligence
INTJ of course. I'd say INTJ in operations and ENFP in sales. But with this, each person must bring complimentary skill sets. Also each one must be lord of their domain.
INFJ I haven't worked with, I don't know
ISTP would be a lot of fun, and their follow through is good. Smart ISTPs are a lot of fun and often "get it". They lead with Ti.
ISTJ very good for inside details but can lack vision, can be frustrating. Often have a dark side.
ENFJ make sweet partners. They do bring Ni and are always cool to get along with.

Don't recommend partners with
ESTJ to bossy
ESTP to manipulative
ESFP ONLY if very bright. I have a VERY smart esfp friend who is a CPA no doubt. Most I'd say no.
ESFJ I can't stand esfj women. esfj men? ok but lack vision.

OK partners
ENTPs, INTPs

Also I have found it is hard for ENFPs to be partners.

I'm interested in a lot of jobs and can't decide. I've discovered that it's not that I'm particularly good at them [well, some, maybe] but that I'm interested in the concept, in potential things that I could do to...change the world, y'know? I think even working as a cashier would be fun, what with the interaction and the ability to restock and...price stickers! xD I can always find something interesting about a job and then I'll want to do it, but I'm not very practical about it. More of a pipe dream, but it feels like so much more than a pipe dream...

One of my friends suggested that I be a "job counselor" or sorts. People who are tired or unmotivated with their jobs could come in and I could help them discover that 'spark' again, inspire them to do better, etc. Because I can see all of these interesting things that might've passed them by, or could encourage them to find that aspect in their jobs, etc. I can communicate that to them, I guess. That or advise them to quit. xD I'd like feeling like I'm improving the quality of people's lives.

Except the problem with that is that I don't necessarily want to only help others--I think I'd feel like I was helping their lives, but not really producing anything of my own, nothing substantial. [Which is why I don't really want to be an editor, because I'm only improving others' work, not creating my own. But I think I'd be good at it? I dunno, you can judge my grammatical skills. ] And besides, is there really a job like that?

I feel like typing up a list of my dream jobs. Be prepared for it. Or not; I might forget about it. xD Ah well.

This summer I will be volunteering with the UNRWA in Palestine to help me decide if I want to work with humanitarian organizations in the Middle East. Currently it is a really big YES. Hopefully my dreams will be confirmed this summer.

Sakari, actually, that is not a bad idea as from and ENFP standpoint. I have thought of going back to school to be a Counselor of some sorts. That or maybe I will become a Priest. LOL. Seriously...

I want to be a lawyer. There are so many doors that open to a person who has a law degree, from litigation to public office. I figure that if I want to make the most change in society, I should become a lawyer.

I am a cynic because your world is an ideal.

brain. rage. twitch. grrr. ARRRRGH!! Stupid bureaucratic garbage!!!! Rules are not there to change on a whim to make life more difficult for employees. Us low level workers have supervisors to make sure we're doing the work and doing it correctly. We don't need some high level moron farting around going "Hmm, I betta make sure da wurkers is wurkinz" and change things to make it less efficient and bring the whole system to a grinding halt.

We aren't sitting around in our basements, gleefully cackling as we make up information to put on the forms you IDIOT!!! If you aren't out here doing the work to really understand the impracticality of your restrictions and constant alterations, then shut up, back off, and let us do our jobs! -eggs the census building- Ok I'm done.

I'd love to be a teacher. An art teacher in fact. But I don't think I have the confidence to stand in front of a class.

I'd like to be the benevolent but firm dictator of a small city-state (like Singapore); but not a charismatic leader, more of a technocrat.

Work in a collaborative environment where I get to help create something. Whether this be working on an album with a few musical buds, or working on an advertisement for a major company.... but since I'm probably gonna end up changing my profession many times over the course of my life, WHO KNOWS!

I'm majoring in Communications though, and Spanish. Ugh, who knows really...

OH MY GOD.  You seriously are taking the words out of my brain and putting them on this forum for everyone else to read!  HOLY CRAP.  Ok, so the part about helping others but having that conflict with your own self expression and creation -- I feel that exact same tug!  Like, should I do something about starving people, join the peace corps, become a career counselor, or should I write books and poetry and sing songs at pubs?  I honestly thought it was super bad of me to NOT want to help people and go and be selfish and create art -- but who said you couldn't create something that helps people?  For me that is my ideal occupation, whatever that is.  I will constantly be in search of this, and I know it's a hard task, but at least I know what it looks like.  My search for the right job can be likened to an investigators search of a murderer.  And now at least I have a picture of the guy who did it.

And the whole thing about not being good at jobs that I've been in so far, I can totally relate.  I just don't think I'd be good at most of those arduous, low paying, labor and quick thinking cashier jobs if that makes any sense.  I feel like I"d be all over the place and everything would think I was flighty and blonde and that I should be fired.  So I'm just gonna stick with going to college and see how that goes

I love oh so much that there is a reason for my madness.  Oh man.

I frequently fantasize about becoming a fantasy or children's book author who also directs movies based on the books he writes!

ENFPs are all about EXPRESSION. A dream job is anything that lets us express all the crazy ideas that our insane Intuition comes up with.
